Who are the moderators? A joke thats what
Before you read or possibly post remember that mods are not suppost to be biased, which means even though I might cause a lot of trouble its their job to look the other way and keep a neutral stance. If you say 'well you deserve it' then please leave now because you are obviously too stupid to understand.

Can I become a moderator?
Do you know and follow every rule outlined on this page? Can you let go of your own viewpoint and judge from a neutral perspective? Are you willing to give up your stars and ranks? Are you visiting Heroes Community almost every day for 30 minutes or more? Are you willing to commit to making Heroes Community a better place? Can you be a good example to other Heroes Community members? If you've honestly answered 'yes' to every single question above and believe you are worthy to be a moderator, you can contact Valeriy about it.
If you've answered yes to a few but not all of the questions, contact one of the moderators and ask them if they need any help. This way you can help the community while keeping your member priveleges. Moderators will appreciate if you alert them of any misconduct, and they will also like if you point them to some old threads that are no longer relevant and could do with deleting.
The only mod that I have found remotely helpful, yet to an extent was RMS who actually takes a true neutral stance to what I and other people have to say rather than going with the bandwagon and joining in what others think. A mod should do exactly this, and because they signed up for one means its their job to do so.
I am utterly cluelss to why Romana is even a moderator, in the quote above was directly taken from the COC and I will underlie many points which she does NOT do.

Is this post really helping the community? Is this setting a good example? Is this making it a better place(ok so if I was gone it might be so some would say, but the fact still remains)? No, that post is counter productive by just making a large scale flame thread. If anything this post should be in the mod squad for mods to discuss not the public since really their say has no merrit on what happens.
Lately anything and everything Romana has been doing has been counter productive for everything the mod status stands for. My main account (yes fools DM was my first and only account until I made this one) had several +QPs deleted by Romana once she came back from vacation as a 'revenge' for my post exploiting her when she gave me her password. Thus in doing so the main account's flood protect was too high since I could only post every hour and a half. THAT is power tripping my friends, and this isnt the first time she has done this. In addition she would only delete flames I made but would not delete flames directed toward me on the same thread.
This isnt really about me either. Romana has been a mod only a month and this is now the second complaint thread about her, as well as several other posts about her. If anyone can tell me why she is still a mod please explain to me because I dont understand.
I honestly do not care if I get -QPs but when I or anyone else(yes even if my best friend privatehudson got one) gets one because its an abuse of power it peeves me. Take a lesson from RMS on how to be unbiased and do the job that you asked for.
There is even a resent thread from people from another board laughing at the people from TOH and I can honestly see why. You all are wondering why TOH was canceled, well look at the mods that created this for you and their actions and you can see why you're all a laughing stock.

ok, as much as i hate you, and as good Romana and Hexa are err......Acquaintices......LOL i sadly have to agree with you DM. Now i wish to remain neutral as of late, but DM seems to like arguing with me....Romana it is true that you perhaps eager to make yourself known among the moderators, as you are the newest one and probley the most anxious lol...But she isnt a bad person.......ah wtf am i talkin about, see i cant write a post longer than a paragraph..

Emphasis by me! but we all could do to READ the code of conduct once in a while. Anyhow, if it is a post or posts causing problems, take care of the posts. If it is a poster causing problems everywhere they post, take care of the one posting. (I would say this applies to those who post trouble 80% of the time)
If you want to come in here and do nothing but cause trouble, you will probably have problems with the mods, and even likely when you are NOT posting *^##$#^%%*

Up to this point I have just kept quiet, but since you, Dear_Morons, asked some questions regarding this in a fairly reasonable tone, I thought I would put my 2 cents in.
Also, I have made a rule for myself not to post if I am angry about something without taking some time to calm down and think it over, many times what you are angry about isn't that big a deal, and it works better to let it die down. If somebody asks a stupid question there is no reason to berate them for it, they are not MAKING you answer it. I don't spend much time in the library, so I really don't know how Romana is doing as a mod. I know she has done a few things differently than I would, but (thank the gods) not everybody is like me. And people do make mistakes, so even if she was wrong, give her a break. I don't see Val keeping a mod he didn't like the way they did things, and this IS his site, so if he doesn't like it, it will change. If he does like it, and that bothers you, nobody is forcing you to come here, nobody is forcing you to read anything, it is a choice you make.

You completely missed the point tristin, because its a public fourm and the problem is addressed to everyone since mods will become one sided. Not only that but because this is a public fourm I have as much as a right to post here as you do...because you dont like the content of what I write doesnt mean anything so deal with it. She APPLIED to become a mod which means she should act responsibly, sure I dont have to post here if I dont like it but its something everyone should be aware of since most people dont have the balls to speak their opinions as blunt as I do.
How many chances do we need to give Romana? I already mentioned this is the second post about her, and others have voiced their complains about the job she has been doing. If someone can teach her the difference between being respectful of the position and power tripping I dont care if she stays as a mod. But for the past month she has only been power tripping.
Hell even I would make a better mod, though my flaming record wouldn't prove so. At least I would know how to handle the position instead of getting it because my partner in real life has it, or for personal revenge.

Actually QP's are awarded for being the top 2% posts here, not because you can sleep with the mod or they just feel like it. Thus it isnt just to revoke it because someone hurts your feelings on a different thread. Dont refer to yourself as 'if I was a mod/superman/sexy as hell I would blah blah cause you suck' because its not true. You never have or will become any of those things.

OK since he’s taken a half decent attitude at the start of the post I will answer him this time.
On the –QP
Yes I got a few, mainly for swearing. I don’t really care that much about qp’s to be honest. As long as I can express my opinion then other people can decide the quality or not. Am I proud of them? No mostly they were for things said in anger so I will get over it.
On Romana
So you haven’t once found her useful then? Well I and I imagine others have. She has helped me on a number of occasions. I guess if you had gone after RMS or Hexa the way you have attacked Romana DM they would not be so unbiased either. You have constantly been against her since I can remember and frankly for very little reason. Forget the way Romana has acted for a second people and ask yourself if someone attacked you personally the way DM did would you react in a unbiased way? I think not.
When are we going to stop insisting that the mods be perfect? Everyone makes their mistakes. What DM’s actions smack of is jealousy and a witch hunt. How about we list the reasons for her being a mod? I think they would far outweigh the few mistakes she has made. She makes 1 or 2 misjudged actions in a month and suddenly DM launches an assault on her, and other members back him up. Well pardon me for defending her, but none of her so-called errors seem irredeemable so why release her mod?
Why did she post the poll? Ask her that one, only she can answer you, but it does seem that people want you removed DM, whether you like it or not. You create havoc here, irritate many people, amuse others. Frankly I do wish you gone, but if the mods/val choose for whatever reason you staying then that’s their choice. It’s VALS site. He chooses mods, who is and isn’t a member. Anyone who doesn’t like what Val does then you all know what you can do. Unless members help pay for the site then they really have no right to criticise the mods at every turn.
To the others
Ask yourself this please. If you arrived at the site as a new member today what impression would it give? The members bickering and arguing with one another, one member messing with the forum and breaking the rules when he wants, Would you stay? Whatever you may imagine ultimate power to ban resides with an Admin ie Val. You want someone to blame for this mess then blame him for allowing this to continue for so long. Don’t blame people who have no power to ban DM!
On DM
Frankly DM you deserved those –QP’s. That is no power trip. You have personally flamed romana on a number of occasions and I can count on the fingers of 1 hand the number of posts you’ve made that haven’t attacked someone in it. I believe all she did is remove the bonuses she gave you. If you really didn’t care then why the hell are you complaining? She should have in my opinion reduced DM01 to the same –qp count since you are clearly the same person, but that’s her choice. Frankly I’m surprised at her leniency with putting up with you so long.
As has been said before you are a bully DM. You pick on people you perceive as the weak link and see the reaction you get. Well I hope you are satisfied with yourself but personally I think you need to try and act a bit more adult than you are at present. So you have different opinions, well congratulations, but when they go against the forum you should not be here. You think you can do better? Fine set up your own forum, see how many people join you.

All I have to say private is...your wrong. Sure if Romana looked around hard enough she could find legit reasons to slap me with -QPs, but since she cant isnt crossing over the line to delete +QPs that other mods gave me as revenge? If not then what the hell is power tripping to you. One or two mistakes is oversimplfying things...she makes just about a new one every 3-4 days and its becomming very consistant.
Yes I have different reasons to post here than you do, there is no denying that, but how does that label me as I should get -QPs more often and other people should get more slack. The point I was trying to make in the original post was since they signed up to be mods they should take responsibility for it and treat everyone equally. That means taking my abuse, if they dont like it take off the mod tag and flame me back.
I have to make the world a better place for ranters and flamers like myself.

Nobody talks about heroes things anymore except in the POS heroes 4 sections that nobody really cares about anyway. This board is already turning into one big flame paradice.
