Tier 1: Zombie
Tier 2: Ballista (i dont like these creaturesmachines...  )
Tier 3: Ogre Magi
Tier 4: Thunderbird
well that's my ranking  of course, the zombie is the worst. Troglodytes are almost worse, but I like troglodytes, so they're forgiven.

Well I don't like them because of I can take the pikeman instead. The Pikeman is my favourite creature in the whole game

I just don't like
Behemoths (they look like ugly giant apes with sharp claws)
Devils (i like them. just except the appearance. Keep the h3 ones. they are the best)
Zombies (like in the other heroes series, totally useless)

yes i agree with the behemoth part,i would say they pretty useless also,because the horrid speed....

Tier 1:
Most probably the imps. I always turn them to skellies. Sure they got nice speed and all but they die like flies.
Tier 2:
uhm... I think Imust choose the magi. thei die by one attack. they are useless.
Tier 3:
ogre magi. I just doesn't see the point.
Tier 4:
Hydras. they doesn't suck, but it's a clear choice what to choose when you can pick between them and the blackies.

In my opinion imp are good creature...and the reason they mana leech ability,great really....
Yes magis are weak and ogre magis also very poor.
Hydras not always....maybe against life,might,nature can be good...

well I'm not much of a strategist in that matter but against spell aligned opponents (Death, other chaos, order) I find it more useful with black dragons. and wehn oing for fast in attack and fast out mode then blackies are a good choice to. although in that matter a band of heroes with GM pathfinding and a few nice arties would be even better.

pirates. no useful ability
sprites. way too weak, even with no retal
gargoyles. they have nothing apart from their speed. moreover, they are one of the most annoying creature to fight in early game. they can kill a low level hero very easily. oh and they are ****ing elemental. which means medusas suck against them.
btw, medusas are annoying to fight all the time lol. unless you have an undead army, but they can still kill the heroes

Madusa, Harpy, Naga, Hell Spawn, because they all have terrible designs. These things shouldn't look like this.
Satyrs and Lapers are at least a bit funny with the roundhous kick, and the empty hat corpse.

LEPRECHAUNS ofcourse! They are small, slow, ugly and quite annoying to look at. It's a stupid man sitting at the end of a rainbow whatching a jar of gold, which is kind of a stupid myth/fantasy creat

I hate Mermaids (as a Stronghold fan, I find it most distasteful to see them as Might creatures).

I get frustrated with any troop that has to melee and is slow to move anywhere. This really limits what you can do with them on the battlefield. If they spend three turns getting to the middle of the map, most of my fights are over by then with all the spellcasting, ranged stuff, and fast melee.

zombie - never actually felt the effectiveness of toughness
leprechaun - is there anyone who buys them? (summoning is another thing)
peasant - who would love the ultimate loser in combat
berserker - so annoying with that automatic pilot
ogre mage - i feel sorry for these guys, no other creature for its level is as situational as them, even in equilibris they are chosen rarely

ogre mages are quite good in equilibris.
snake strike. mass bloodlust. 
and they have a hell of a lots of HPs if you consider their growth
