Seems like only yesterday...
its almost September 11th again and i decided to make this post a bit early..it seemed like only yesterday when the two planes crashed into the World Trade Centers. I Remember the exact day in full detail- I was in Philadelphia, PA- The city almost as big as NY. Tuesday, came back from Art Class in school at about 9:45 AM Eastern USA time, Teacher told me That a plane just crashed into the world trade centers, i sorta thought this was a joke until the entire school was sent to the auditorium where there was a big TV screen with the news on. The first tower had already collapsed and the second was leaning over. About a half hour later the second one collapsed..it was strange watching it go, it like froze your entire body up for a moment, i still couldnt believe it till about a month later......

Well I was in work, it was afternoon time In the UK around 2:00 I think, when someone came rushing in and told us to put on the radio as some idiotic pilot had crashed into the WTC. About 5 mins after that the second plane hit home adn everyone began to realise the same mistake could not have happened twice.
By the time washington was hit it was clear that a terrorist strike was planned. What is interesting is that at that time no-one in my workplace even put forward OBL as a contender. This is simply because the man was hardly Headline news prior to the attack. Hussain and the PLO were all forwarded instead. When the other flight came down over pensylvania (I think) we wondered if the American millitary would have the nerve to shoot passenger filled jets, and it was not for some time that the Radio announced the official reason for the plane coming down.

I remember I was in first period in school (computer science) and some guy read about it in a forum a few minutes after the first plane hit the tower. We all thought it was just some joke but after a few minutes there were pictures and stuff and we only talked about this in school. You are right, it does seem like yesterday.

September 11... nearly one year on...
Well, I can say that September 11, 2001, was a very tragic day. The day when two hijacked planes crashed into the twin towers in the WTC, killing all on board and thousands more in the towers - the day when a plane crashed in the Pentagon, killing several hundred people, and finally, the collapse of the twin towers and the massive tears from the victims of the fallen.
Nearly one year on... and I still have many of the horrendous images on my mind. This act of barbary and merciless hatred was not lost on the americans, nor on myself. So, one year on, I hope everyone will remember what has happened on this fateful day.
May God bless America, the land of 'freedom.'

I will remember the losses in the same way I remember those killed on both sides during the problems in Ireland and Israel. It's just a great shame it took America to have such a jolt to the system as 9/11 to realise the evil terrorism presents to the world

I almost never watch the news so on that day I got a phone call from my parents telling me what happened ..so I turned on the tv and I was really shocked..
A continent away and yet so close
Weird to see or hear people laughing about "unimportant" stuff when something like that happened.
I felt the same way when one of my relatives died..
So many people grieving ..losing loved ones..It's horrible
And for what?
I pray for those people in hope they will still find some happiness and I hope they have people close to them to comfort them in this difficult time

I was in my 2nd period class (Keyboarding) last year, and it was just so sudden. I think that all period the entire class just watched and waited to see what would happen.
9/11 was a very sad day. It should not be a day of "Pin the Blame on America," or of anger at the cold-hearted fvckers who hijacked the planes and crashed them into the WTC, Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. It should be a day of mourning and rememberance.

if you think that hits hard..think about the rescue team who had to "clean" 
That must have been horrible..
I rememeber seeing on tv a reporter and he said the smell was overwhelming..
