1.NWN - Very good multiplayer RPG.
2.Americas Army - Good multiplayer shoot fest for FREE!
3.Links2001 - I'm a golf nut what can I say?
4.HOMM4 - It grows on you.
5.Ghost Recon - Another good shoot fest!
6.HOMM3 - Bored with it now but it's still an all time fav

When I'm done checking those games out I will start playing heroes again

My top 6
1. Grim fandango
If I had to rate my favourite forms of media, it would be (1)Computer games(2)Books(3)Movies. Why rate computer games so high? Well, it's all because of this game, the greatest adventure of all time.
2. Diablo2
I spend all of my free time during a year on this. I don't regret it at all.
3. StarCraft
Another game I played hardcore.
4. Heroes3
5. Heroes4
Although I don't play Heroes3 anymore I had more fun playing it. Ones the MP patch comes out, that might change.
6. Worms world party
Two or more people can have extremely fun playing this on one computer.

in no particular order
Ages of Myst (brilliant games... I should start writing books)
Neverwinter Nights (take a look at the game and tell me why)
Wolfenstein/Doom/Quake/Unreal series (frag time ) great time killers and mindless fun)
Starcraft/BW (one of the best RTS out there and a plot fit for a movie..)
Anachronox (nice plot, funny characters)
Vampire: the Masquerade - Redemption (couldn't live up to it's legacy but great game nevertheless)
let's add a twist to this thread... how about games that you wouldn't play even if they paid you?
my list:
Might and Magic (any, they all suck)
Morrowind (the graphics suck... just like the gameplay)
any Micro$oft simulator... (not my style)
any sports game (extreme ones not included)

It's understandable if you don't like the gameplay but "graphics suck"? How can you say that about Morrowind and nothing about the dated graphics of NWN?

1. Heroes 4 Map Editor. (IF Not Bored Then Set Continue = TRUE Else Set Go_And_Play_Something_Else_You_Freak = TRUE)
2. Heroes of Might and Magic 4 (I spend a lot of time testing my maps).
3. Civilization 3 (Have to get through it on Emperor. And Deity.)
4. Fantasy General (Old game but still great by any standards.)
5. King of Dragon Pass (This truelly is a grand game. Almost like a good book but better.)
6. Let me think... Some good shoot 'em up like Return to Castle Wolfenstain, Half-Life and its mods or Unreal Tournament for action.

let's compare graphics for a moment...
NwN: low poly models, good animations, nice textures, average environmental effects, dynamic lighting
ESMw: mid-low poly models, disturbing animations, below average textures, average environmental effects
let's compare dates:
NwN: 4 years old engine
ESMw: 1 year old engine
bottomline:
even though Mw's engine is good, they don't use it as they should (or could) ...on the other hand, the NwN guys make the best out of their engine... and dynamic lighting adds to that (before saying that dyn. light is not something crucial let me remind you a little game called Doom 3) ...when I played Mw, I went "wtf? this engine sucks" when i played NwN I just went "WOW"

Well...
In no particular order...
Championship Manager [01/02] - I'm addicted for a couple of months... ever since my friend introduced me to it
Civ 3
SoF 2 MP test - I've been playing it for quite a time now...
Heroes [1..4]
Diablo [1..2:LoD] - Started plaing it again recently
Worms [1..WWP] - played 'em all, sometimes play the latest... can't wait for Worms-3D to come out

My list:
1 - Final Fantasy VIII best game ever!
2 - Final Fantasy VII best storyline ever!
3 - Heroes of Might and Magic 3best multiplayer game in Hot Seat
4 - Starcraft / Broodwarbest real-time strategic game
5 - Counter-Strike(Half-Life MOD) great game to play with lots of friends in LAN Houses(almost every Friday I play it with about 20 friends, but everybody sucks)
6 - Some other nice games(there is a lot), like Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Might and Magic 4 and 5.
Very easy to notice that I love RPGs.

My current loves:
1. Madden 2003 - Just a big football junkie, and the new version is just great: graphics, commentary, music great as usual; more in-depth options... just sexah.
2. Starcraft: Brood War The best RTS game ever made. Even though there are only 3 races, the diversity of strategies just makes the replay value amazing.
3. Heroes of Might and Magic 4 - The jury's still out on this one, especially since the chat windows and 393939 minute data transfers are as annoying as hell, but should get better.
Not really playing anything else right now. GTA Vice City comes out soon, and I plan on getting that... GTA3 was just awesome.
