I really don't see why you have so much against tavern. What can the tavern possibly do to the library or the other forums?

There is no need to eliminate places to post for Heroes 2 and 3. I'm just saying this: (listen to me)
WHY ARE PEOPLE POSTING IN THE LIBRARY ABOUT HEROES 4 WHEN THERE IS A PERFECTLY GOOD FORUM FOR JUST HEROES 4. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME KIND OF ORGANIZATION BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT FORUMS.
PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO PUT A THREAD CALLED, "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOWN?" (THIS IS A HEROES 4 TOPIC)
DO I CREATE THIS THREAD IN LANDS OR THE LIBRARY?
My point is that organizing the threads by lands and then the library is not very efficient. They should be done by category or by classic HOMM and New Heroes.
My suggestion is to do it by category and have one of the categories be Classic Heroes. This can easily be done by tacking new thread ratings on to the threads. We already have the filters. Why can't we do this. Make it easier to find the threads you need to talk about. Please.

Well the problem ain't to delete the spam but to identfy it as spam. A sound definition of it wouldn't hurt.
I mean by the normal definition almost the entire tavern could be concerned SPAM... hehe
PS: It was brought to my attention that for "some" members (well 1 sofar) find it hard to see when I am joking or being serious.
In other words if I am talking as a mod or a member.
Are there more people that find this a problem?@
As an example: me saying  o u have any idea on how many people will start screaming "mod abuse" and stuff like that?@
Would u take this serious?

The Hydra. I Dont like the idea about the tavern, The tavern provides entertainment, as well as games and giving me things to think about. now some of it is bullsnow, and half of it is from me or Redsox  Anyways.....You suck! LOL Jk

Stop worrying about what forum your thread belongs in. It belongs in the forum that inspired it.
This HC is entertainment so stop pissing on other people's fun. If you don't like, don't read.
Stop worrying about spam. Spam is unwanted solicitation...too many people toss away other people's thoughts or jokes or whatever by calling it spam. This is rude and worse than the post that generated the comment.

@Redsox: The tavern does affect the amounts of posters and thus posts on the other boards, that's simply a fact. I'm not against the tavern and didn't say that, I just think things can be improved on the field of 'SPAM-management'. I've seen goodwill from several mods, that is hopeful at least.
I don't think posts in the lands that belong to library or vice versa is such a big deal. They can be moved if they don't belong there. Besides noobs often don't realize the library isn't a H4 board and the lands is H4 only. Allow them to make these mistakes redsox, the mods can move the threads afterwards.

Eh, where have you seen me pissin on other people's threads? Right, nowhere. I instead avoid the threads infected by SPAM, because I don't think it's entertaining. Then again, one toss a day keeps the QP's away

Reading the first posts from this thread(the ones that actually concearned the Library and not the Tavern scandal) i felt really dissapointed.
I don't really know how were things in the Library back then, but i know that now the quality of posts in here has dropped alot.It has been almost two years since i joined this Community and the Library was the first forum that caught my attention.Threads like Homm tactics or Run Forest...run seemed interesting to me then and, belive it or not i enjoy reading them again even now.
It's late June now, let's just look at how many threads were active this year: A little less than 200(check 1st 2005 post on page 10).Well amongst these posts only 18 have been rated as interesting,inspiring or important.IMHO apart from those there are another 10-15 threads worth reading.So at best 30-35 good threads in wich has been any activity this year.What else?
People that are too lazy to check Angelito's helping thread and open "I'm new in here" threads,people that are too lazy to check the ToC and start a new thread on a subject already debated times and times again,people that just want to see their name in a certain thread.
How many good threads were opened this year?
Id say Collector's cut and Rychen's threads just about covers it.
Attempts of making the Library more active existed(remember the weekly Library question), but to me it seems that this forum is kept alive by it's only active Mod aka. Angelito, by a wierd vet with a huge apetite for tossing in good threads aka Xarfax  , by another vet who just sparked back waiting for H5 and bothered to get involved aka Rychenroller and by a few naive noobs that think the game still has a lot of secrets and interesting things to be talked about.
I decided to make this post after seing today one guy that has just received a H3 complete game two weeks ago giving tactics lesson to a WW grandwizzard.Seems to me that after This or that fell in disgrace people still have to find a buissenes in here even if they have no clue what they are talking about.I'm not suggesting that those people should refrain from posting, but rather to try experimenting&testing their sayings first.If they don't want to end up putting their foot in the mouth that is.
My point here is that i would like to see more people that post here actually trying to make a constructive contribution to this forum instead of just throwing in an opinion more or less pertinent.Best exemple for this is the number of people that bothered to think in some of the serious quiz threads(Weekly question or Oracle).
I suppose it's easier to post in a thread like This or that the answer to:"Who will win:Lvl 20 tazar with 100AA vs lvl 1 halon with one cursed peasant".
I'm pretty often on the zone nowdays and sometimes interesting discussions start there with people that know the game and that have something to share about it.Some of those people are members to this community ,unfortunatelly they don't seem very active.
To me that's very sad and at this moment i can't think of any solutions to this state of facts.
