Currently I only have the full version of 3, but I will try out HoMM4 thanks to Ghost Dragon  Hope I'll like it. I'll never get peace of mind untill I try it anyway. About WOG I know you need the Shadow of death expansion, but what are the changes in WOG compared to regular HoMM3?

2) New buldings
3) New artifacts
4) Commanders
5) Fully customizable (enable only what you want)
6) ERM scripting to create your own mods or map events
7) About 50 scripts (and more to come) that do everything from adding a new type of resource (mithril) to changing hero abilities.

I've also bought Homm4 quite recently. And i agree with Lord Lazy totaly. this game is worth nothing. it is so different from homm3! they have changed castle's garnizons! now it doesn't make sens at all! homm3 has it's own magic, all the creatures have their own history, it is possible to find them in mitology, legends,etc.{of course monsters like ferrie dragon are out of order} when playing homm3 i just feel the game's climate and spirit. homm4 with it's new looks just don't fit me. don't get me wrong; i 'm not saying that some additinal options or new game's features are wrong. no, it's just that in my opinion homm4 has only one thing in common with homm3: the name. except it, it is completely new sort of game which uses good and checked game patterns of homm3 but it will never be half that good!
but i must also say that before buying it i had completely different expectations. perhaps that's why it hurts so much.

H4 sucks only thing wich is good is graphic,butt all other things is not so well.
