NewMaps..want?
...or we just making for 'shake of creation'?
i have some under construction..but i really need to feel that ToH players need new ideas in maps,in order to fire me up to finish them.here's status:
' insanity_IV ':A ToH homm3 map remade,original by jinxer.http://www.toheroes.com/maps/Insanity.zip
Open map but hard to reach to opponent with 3 neutral areas(1 of which closed)
progress lev:70% / estimated release:late march
' Drifters ':main idea:Heroes fight and develop without town's help.Town is flagged so you build it,but not enough exp and boosts near it to develop strong heroes out of it.'Drifters' heroes arrive from 1WAY exit, join armies and hit for neutral zone where they find riches and prolly their human opponent
progress lev:20%
*UPDATE* 'KingBounty_vs_KingBurger_1.2'
Alrdy a ToH map,updates contain:
_more movement boosts
_some guards weakened
_2 dwellings passabilities fixed
estimated release:~ 2weeks

as long as you started to play 1 minute ..., I guess you have plenty o' time to finish them. At least , must be more succesfully for you . And , as an appreciation, you're ideas , sometimes, are good, so go for it, share them with us, but let others change them into facts.

Your other two ideas seem good, but I for one don't really like this style of map. The, as you call it, drifting hero section is pretty much a pre determined path. There's lots of battles which take up lots of time and you get a decent hero at the end of it... but there is NOTHING the player can do for strategy. You end up with the same hero every game and each player (if they complete the section) has the same level of hero. I really don't see the point of this sort of side-quest (in a MP map anyway, it can be quite fun for SP though)... there's little strategy, lots of time and it doesn't actually add anything to the game.
Just my opinion....
