U think u now u coudln't,I think u're right,u couldn't.
Its an old and dumb theory,which doesn't make anythin better.U know,we were taught at school,that this is the only cure for some snake bites
Some yrs later we were told that this shouldn't be tried at all.

Its like stupidness and norwegians - you try and get rid of it as much as you can but unfortunately it will still always be there.

You could try to suck the poison from a boa constrictor.
I think there is a way to milk poison out of a venomous snake, but it certainly doesn't involve sucking. Most of the Google results from "handle venomous snake" started with "Don't!"
As to sucking the poison out of a bite, there's controversy among first aid websites. The person who does the sucking can't have any open sores or cuts in their mouth (duh), the procedure only removes 10-15% of the venom, and it can introduce infection. However, in the absence of bandages, sucking doesn't do as much damage as cutting and seems to be permissable with caution, since it does restrict the spread of the venom. So, both you and your cousin are sort of right.  Does that help?
