All creatures, towns, artifacts etc. here!
What about all the ideas for new towns, creatures, artifacts, skills, spells, treasures, etc.?
Here you can submit them!
I have some ideas of my own:
creature: Coakilisk - flayr, hit-point 100, damage 40, attak 4, defence 3, special abilities: none.
artifact: Death-Angels Scythe - +20 damage to all undead and demonic creatures or heroes.
skill: Mastering - more control of creatures (cheeper for current heroe).
spell: Unlish - invoke on one of the enemy creatures and it will become nutral and attak both yours and his creatures and heroes.
treasur: Coal - new resource.
town:
Atlantis
resource: Coal
magic: Nature magic
uniqe buildings:
Coal factory - provides 1 Coal per day.
Captains Quarters - an half heroe wil do the heroe job when the town is under siege and there are no heroes around.
Whirlpool - teleports creatures from one town that has a whirlpool to an other that have built one.

creature: Lion, hit-point 85, damage 30, attack 5, defense 6, special abilities: first strike.
artifact: The devil's hat - +10 melee & ranged Defense to all undead creatures.
skill: Intelligence - give the hero more effectivness to his magic & strength.
spell: Blood bath - does 50 damage to all living creatures.
treasure: Food - New resource (from age of empires)

Food, as a resource, is for real time strategy. I don't think it should be in HOMM. Anyway, why do you want to have more resources?

Invent a town for this food resource if yours, 3DO people slide into this website and put ideas that they like into their next game.

artifact (well, actually combination/set artifact):
tome of arcanum - contains all spells, +100 spell points, +10 spell point regeneration. Requires tomes from all schools of magic
units - leviathan, lvl 4 creature, bind (like mantises), water based attack

In HOMM III for example, you can choos a starting bonus in regular maps: gold / artifact or RESOURCE!
That resource is the resource of your town, the buildings cost the most of it except for wood, ore and gold, and your best creature costs some of it except for gold.

food!
the food resource is quite a good idea even in homm you can have farms to produce 1 food per day.On the other hand food can be an important resource for the might, for example the Behemouth will cost 2750 gold & 3 food. Doesn't that sounds great!

Yeah, and each living creature would have to consume 1 food per day to survive .

Yeah, Woock is right. All the creatures should consume food, except for the undead. This would be kinda strange.

Gargoyles, golems and elementals shouldn't get hungry either.
And I think that after a victorious battle, you should be able to acquire food from the corpses of the opponent

What do you mean 'all creatures should cost food'?! This is not a realistic game, only creatures from a town connected to the food resource should cost food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kinda castle could you make with food as principal resource. Probably a castle with fat dudes. Well...clue me.

Another resource could be uranium.
This resource is connected to the North Korea town, and is required to create the lvl.7 nuclear bomb creature.

WHAT !!!!! nuclear bomb !!!! wake up we are not in the 20th century okay.
and i think that homm can be made a realistic game(why not?) So the food resource can be used in this game, so that only living creatures will consume food but there is one difference between this resource and the others which is that food is produced in larger quantities to be able to feed all the creatures and in town (not undead) a farm can be built to get food + we can have a skill that a hero might take which can also help with producing food in town
and of course it is based on the hero's level.
