Sorry for being so straight forward but all of this is just BS.
What you need to know is what posts the mods like and how you best suck up to them.
Thats the harsh truth, in an ideal msg board maybe other things would matter too but as long as you are buddy with the mods here you will keep gaining red stars. The truth is as simple as that.

I was gonna say somthin similar SS, but I felt it wouldnt do any good anyways. AAS (for example) would get QPs for other reasons, if he started posting better cuz he's not overlooked Everytime he deserved a QP he got 1..
But other ppl are so overlooked, I mean who says a mod has to actualy hear what ppl realy have to say?
Sometimes when I read a text book, i dont conform reasonable understanding to what I've read, cuz I'm not working at it. But when I take inference to inference, I come up with the general meaning of what they try to communicate.
I wouldn't want to be a mod incharge of points, cuz in the grand devinity of it I dont want to be responsible for not finding quality posts. Sometimes they'll do skrimishes primarily in "other side of the monitor" but its way to much work to read everyones post in every thread, and I think 1 thing is "look at long posts" when they scroll down threads..
But, some ppl like me (raise your hands other folk if you want to) I doubt mods stop to figure out wether my posts are legible or not.

but the thing is that when you accept to become a moderator you also accept the responsibility for that forum.
And that is reason enough for each and every posts to be read by atleast one of the moderators moderating that forum.
As simple as that.
