More town music please
I recently downloaded the Wizard's town music and to my surprise, it sounded much better than in the actual game. The MIDI music is really good, but unfortunately of a horrible sound quality.
My favorite was always the MIDI version of the Knight's castle, but I like the Warlock, Wizard, Sorceress, Necromancer and Barbarian as well. In fact, I like all of them.
So please keep up the good and noble work to preserve our cultural heritage.

oh yes
once a week, we will have another town music available, from both regular and expansions (they were different, before the 3do days in homm2, where expansions really had new content!)

Thanks for that, but don't bother with the expansion (stereo) music for Knight, Necromancer and Wizard, since they are exactly the same as Castle, Necropolis and Tower from HOMM3.

Just goes to show you how some things dont get better with age. Old music was great. Plus i miss the old turn alarm. Used to wake me up for turn. The cute little bell in HMM4 couldnt wake me up from a daydream.

I would vote the Barbarian town from HoMM1 as my all time favorite town music. I have liked alot about each town, but it was the first to always give me a really "heroic" feeling entering that town.

Yeah, i agree. It has to be the quick-paced town theme in all the Heroes games. The sorceress music from homm1 is also pretty good.

Since you can open the Heroes of Might and Magic cd in Music Match jukebox or other cd player like you can open HOMM2, why not just record it onto the pc? I haven't played the game that much since buying it so maybe the gameplay music is different than what I hear in MMjukebox. The track titles returned from the cdlookup all look like they are in some other language.(ex.Chorale Preludes (10) for organ: Da Christus geboren war) I have recorded the HOMM2 music from the cd into MMjukbox and play it while surfing the net or whatever. Just a thought.

HOMM1 is officially just called Heroes of Might and Magic. You may notice that Zephyr refered to exactly that name and then compared it to the way in which you can copy the HOMM2 music in a computer. It was a suggestion on how to copy HOMM1 music.
P.S. I have a number of HOMM1 tracks in my media library as WMA files. They open with both Windows Media Player and Winamp.

A message to Market Erkan??? Never heard of that person before. If I see him, I'll pass on your message.
(Sure, just give me a moment. I have to copy the rest from the CD.)

All those years I knew there has been something in the past that I forgot. Something important. Now I know it was the music from homm2. I can await to be back home and install the game again on my comp. And pick a scenario and town=music. Barbarian of corse.

I have it all on mp3s that I made a couple years ago. Should still be on my old hard drive or I could do it again too since I think I burned them at 96 instead of 128 like usual....it might not matter though.
