What about the time?
Nobody talks about the time issue. Well , I dont know how do all of you play heroes , but I allways set my time to 1 minut. So , you see , you cant just look around and wait to decide what is the best move , you have to play instantaniusly. There is much more presure involved , when you hear that time count , first 30 sec , then 10,9,8,7...
You also musnt have to many heroes - more than five and you simply dont have time to move them around. Chaining with more then 3 heroes is to difficult to acomplish- when you buy your troops , then chain to first hero , than to second , and then to third and your time is up.
So , I say once more : What about the time?

prefer unlim, 6 mins will do also, but 4 mins only by acception. I have to pick of the (office)phone when it goes.
1 min games is for people who lock themselves in a room and do not have a phone that can ring and don't have to go to the toilet or do something around the house.

...pretty easy:
If u want to handle a 7 hero chain in 1-Minute turn ive three advices for u:
- 1 turn of sound and effects.
- 2 lower graphics and turn of any additional info
- 3 learn the keybuttons by heart.
then ull have 15 seconds left by end of turn.
Well im to old for this

I've tried to use the shortcut keys, but I contiuously mess up. I think that once, I activated save about 5 times during a single turn. Now I stick to using the mouse.

talking about short keys, since speed is really important in heroes3 being able to use short keys is really important IMO
And if anyone knows plenty of keyboard short cuts i would appreciate if that person took the time to write em down.
thnx

well to press 3 differnt buttons cant be too hard:
for the first day:
- press "T" and "Return" to quickly buy your Heroes.
any day after:
- press "H" to jump to jump from Hero to Hero.
Toooo Hard to Handle!?? ..well i dont think so.
Some other buttons that are useful on the Map:
- Return
- Space
- Tab
Make your Homm quick to think more about your strat.
Xarfa1:
PS: If u use "H" Button try to put your chain in the correct direction each turn.
