Why are the ppl that have been proven to have cheated and then put in hos, had there accounts from database either removed or frozen BUT the games that they have played against other players have not been removed from the other players records and points re-ajusted ?
Surely if they have been proven to have cheated, but have reported that game a win, and the unlucky opponent still has to suffer the loss of points!
Would it be difficult to have a little script or something that auto mates the removal of the hosser and his/her points and games from ALL they have played in the current season?
Think some of the players who have been on the recieving end of hosser may feel a little better.

Because it would not be fair for us honerable players to get screwed on games just because of thier account.

Here's my take on this...If you lost to a cheater who is later caught, then you should not get any points back. What you should get, however, is very angry...angry enough that from that point forward you save every turn of every game, and if you find yourself losing in such a manner that you believe you have been cheated, spend some time reloading the saves and take a look at just how your opponent beat you. Two things may happen. One, you may find out that your opponent had cheated and you can turn him or her in, which will hopefully help make the tournaments a better place. Two, your opponent may have been a very good and honorable player, and you may learn a trick or two to help improve on that particular map or improve your game overall by watching his moves. Just my humble opinion, and I am not sure if this works with Heroes4, but with Heroes2 and Heroes3 it worked well for me. I learned a lot an even caught a few buggers in the process.
Here's an idea that just came to mind...perhaps the tournament coordinators can give points to those who catch cheaters and turn them in. Then maybe people will be more proactive in catching them, and the cheaters may think twice before cheating and mend their ways.

i'm not talking about lossing a game then thinking i was cheated foo lol, i mean the ppl who have been caught by HC and been flogged by FloggerSchaff !
Last thing i wanna do is to come on zone 2 to catch the b@stages lmao, i just wanna play the game.
Just seems like if they have been put is hos, that means they r a proven cheater, beyond any doubt, and they should have everything on file removed, including the games they played with ppl.

Just do what I do Max & play who you know  .
Problem solved.
Play a bracketed game & your chances of problems increases greatly.
For me I forfieted over 50% of my bracketed games this season because I thought my oponent dishonerable

Well, i don't think you should get any points back either. If you would have looked at saves after your game, he would have been caught earlier, therefore saving many others the pain of being cheated.
Not only that, but I think you should have to prove that he cheated when he/she beat you. Not all cheaters cheat for the entire season. Some, yes. All, no.

Somebody has to catch the cheaters, right? Otherwise, you will just have all these foos running around complaining about cheaters and being cheated, but they are too lazy to take action themselves. So just remove their games on their record and don't remove the games they played on their opponents' records? Doesn't make sense to me. So if I click on PLAYER1's record it will show loss or win to CHEATER1, but when I look up CHEATER1's record, it won't exist? It should be all or nothing, IMHO.

If u delete a loss and therefor e.g. get 25 points back ur next win will be (5% * 25=) 1 point less.
You see where I'm going to?

personally,before i became involved with the council,i didnt care if i played someone who was later caught with a fake account. they boosted up thier points not through skill but fake reports,so it was easy for a skilled or in my case semi- skilled player to take easy pts

Seems like me considering u a friend is not so corect if u consider i cheated in a game. Even if i am a cheater if u check again u'll see that i'm acused of a diferent thing. I enjoyed every game i've played so... but i guess it seems that friendships is based on athoer things in your opinion.
