Please do not lock threads like the JVC about H5 again. I know its a frenzy of locking/closing threads in the homm3 section -- perhaps a power trip? -- but it does not happen here. There was a lot of interesting conversation in it, was growing nicely and it was not a flame war.
I maintain and upkeep on all threads daily. Notice how this room seems to have all topics rated literally the moment they pop up? Its called me reading and keeping up on all threads. Look at other HC rooms and see if they are doing the same, besides slapping penalties and banning people.
No... as of yet I have not taken one red star from any member.

minor note to xarfax
1- I am running several websites right now, and in conjunction with REAL LIFE, I dont have time to play homm, whether it be homm3 or 4. My lack of gaming is not due to homm4 itself.
2- I probably have played as many hot seat games in homm4 than you have played homm3 online in the last year.
3- Why do we even bother explaining these things?

Most of it was fairly positive argument with little flaming, apart from Aculias wanting to get stuck into Jinxer and that last post from Xarfax. Nothing wrong with that thread in the flaming aspect, indeed, have seen far far FAR worse not locked at all.
I dont see too much wrong with a healthy argument between h4 and h3 lovers Zud, indeed, I do play both.

Same old rants
I dont lock many threads, and I also enjoyed the thread and tried to turn it positive.
If steven, motor andi and xar wanna toss h4, this isnt the place to do it tho.
we all know each others opinions, and i think its just disrepectful to come in h4 room with it.
Like I said, they are different games, I enjoy(ed) both.
I think its more to do with transfer that keeps h4 down. if h3 was only cable dsl people with an occasional masochistic modem player. then h3 at zone wouldnt be that popular either.
Please try to keep it positive or at least give more than your opinions. and I have no problems.
I just dont want the tossfest moving from MAH room to here.

Anyways to Zud you should know even better then I do that those 2 & thier fun puppet the sweetness oops I mean Sweedish guy wont stop & never did for yrs.
You got to think of a dif remedy because if you only lock a thread it only lets them see the succeded in getting to you guys & will start on another thread.
Mayhaps erase what they say or just ignore them & thats it ban them for a bit of time but they wont stop, I know this & you know this lol.

Ok, so NWC should fire, tar and feather the multi programmer.
Question to H3 players who hate H4. Is there nothing about H4 that you think was an improvement from H3? I played H3 single for years. I loved it so much that I would always come back to it after finishing other computer games. We all know single is nothing like multi, but here I am playing H4 multi, not H3 multi. Do you think that all the avid H3 players who now play H4 multi are all on drugs? I may be, but not everyone. It seems more useful for NWC and the H5 programmers for us to post the best and worst parts of each so they can focus on what to do and not to do. If the Heroes multiplayer crowd doesn't unite and give them meaningful feedback, than they will cater the game to single.

First of all Mike. Is 3DO still in charge of making H5, or has another company taken over? 3DO does not care about the Multi community. They think its kewl to make a single player based game, and then spend 4 hours throwing together some Multi features.
Would be great if they would make H5 a multi player game, and then let who ever play it single if they wish, but they are not that smart. We have been posting requests for patches and fixes and wishlists for years and they dont even give it a second thought.
