i think this is a good tournament idea, but needs plenty of time and planning and not something to rush into whatsoever.
once some1 comes up with all the rules and how it works, and have a host, would be better to set a date thats maybe a couple of months away and give it some good publicity.
give all the invited tourneys a chance to diggest the info and get organized etc etc.
"The Gathering" sould be a once a year event, maybe with the winning tournament site getting some special Icon to place on there Splash Page to say they r the holders?
maybe the best times would be during the summer breaks or at the end of the year, although i do see problems with end of calender year tournaments with RL stuff and all.

The main problem is players are way to big headed & just basically want to keep to themselves & who they want to play.
I mean can you picture Andi playing vs Holymen on W&W

well 2 start with, i think any1 who is in a HOS on any tourney site should not be able to play, as for holymen lol, he wouldnt make the cut into the top players from each tourney (without cheating of course)

Yeah I can, Andi would play in an active cool tournament to support the tourney. As long as 3rd party hosted

Yea I know he would but not vs Holymen, how does he know he wont report a win vs him 3 times & then Andi would have to deal with BS .
