Why must erm scripts be so difficult?
I must tell everyone, that me do not understand the erm scripts, how to use them and how they work.
They are a cool thing, but for most people who are not into computer programming and stuff,it seems completely alien to them.
Why can't they make things easier, like the map editor?
What with all those flags and stuff, the erm scripts are only useful to those who know how to use it.
It's not foolproof.
Fools can't use it.
And when you know fools can't use it,you know it's a bad invention in the gaming world.

Because there is no easy way to make a point and click editor for erm. Erm was made so that the team can add new features to WoG. They then released the code out to the public so they can make codes if they knew how to read it. We are trying to make more help files available but between working on WoG, personal life and all noone really has the time to even attempt to make an editor. I personally don't know how to do erm yet but really haven't had time due to testing and working on graphics as well as run my site and work.

Here we go again.

Even a moron like me needed one afternoon to figure ERM out. I dare not say I'm good at writing complicated scripts, but I sure know how to change the properties of EVERYTHING in the game. And believe me, it's FUN.
If you care for it, give it a try.

WoG 3.57f FULL INSTALL no

It really depends. The WoG team has members that do different tasks and not all of them are ERM script writers. For example, Gangrail and Kitten were originally invited to join because they run the official WoG tournament site and are able to organize multiplayer testing and gather valuable feedback and error reports for the team. Others on the team were recruited to do graphics, while a few people are acting as internal script and feature testers. Of course, many team members do a variety of things and many of them do know ERM, but as I said, it depends. The WoG team is fairly big now, although we still have only a couple of programmers, and only one main programmer (Slava), and at this point we're not even looking for new members unless they have proven graphics ability or have written several quality scripts. But if we ever come another really good C++ programmer who was interested in WoG, I expect that person would be invited too.

I guess u are right. If it wasn't for Gangrail and his tournament site, I would'nt be a WoG tester or a HC member.
