I chose end it June 23rd
Figured I might as well say why..
Gives people a few weeks to complete any rank they wanna reach before the new season starts.
Also gives the tournament coordinators a few weeks to prepare for the tourneys. Promotion will be good too...build up hype for a tourney and it will do good.

i choice June 23rd so you can have clans stared and all tourneys. + this season has been very long and 2 many emperors.

I´d like to give my voice for the old date to stand, but unfortunately i cannot vote in this poll anymore, after I´ve accidentally clicked the vote button. I also do not think that the long- and well-known time schedule of a tournament should be changed by such a poll, where 1% of the players take part in.

i voted june 23rd, but i woulda liked to voted for 30th june and start new season on the 1st of a new month, thats seems to make more sense to me and is much easier for ppl to remember that things start/end on the 1st/last day of a month.
think u should use that system for ya sub-tourneys dates as well, it is just easier alrouund for ppl to remember when there is continuity through out the tournament like this.
ps. this flood protect thing is REALLY starting to get on my nipples!

How is it stupid?
You ask the reason why they consider changing the date?
Because there are big tournaments that are being planned, and if they launched now, you would have to extend the season end date or end it soon and then start the tourneys.
A tournament would not really go well if in the middle of it everyone is reset and ranks started over..now would it?

i will say only one
Ves reset 1 season /season 5/ and after many players quit from heroes3 /Myths/!!!!

if u close end of july and start new 1st august, then that is only 23 days shorter and may work as a compromise for many players. just means there is more time to plan the sub-tourneys imo.

In retrospect,.....
I remember when Ves phuked us on season v..
and Boxa is right,,if we said season is one yr then let it be...
A yr ago I was one of the biggest lobbists to have u post a season ending date on mainpage..remember Mandi..hehe
So, I think let season end as normal that will give Motor time to perfect any subs,,etc..
It gives Kitty time to get new mainpage etc..ready..
It gives the pts. players enuf time to get the rank they want..etc..lol
It gives the present newbs time to learn...
btw..Just wondering Boxa..why would u and friends quit if season ended early? U have the respect of players and u have great rank..we all know how good player u r..so what's the prob my friend? :]

Well either way you look at it, it'a not exactly a year. Kitten and I actually moved over here to the ToH server on July 4th.

The date of Aug 23rd was just a date picked out of the air in the beginning. But like I said, it doesn't really matter to me. I will say this one thing about it though. More people have time to play during the summer and it would give more of an opportunity for them to get up the new ranks. I also have more time during the summer which means that I could probably handle clans on my own, during the summer, but once fall is here I will need someone willing to help me with updates and it will have to be someone VERY organized and flexible. I guess what it really comes down to is would you rather use your summer free time to get that last run in at the end of this season? Or a good jump on the next? That's the way to think about it.

i think any1 that stays indoors during the summer is just sad and needs ta get a life and get outside and GET A TAN lol

Normally I would agree with you, but I don't tan, I burn. And then I go back to being pale, and then I burn again. It really stinks. Sunday we went to the Air Show and I put on two layers of SPF 15 sunscreen and I still got burnt to a crisp! I have to wear SPF 45 and reapply about every 2 hours to keep from cooking, lol. But we are really off topic here.
I just know we have a good section of college students that may spend the time they usually spend studying playing Heroes.
