Commander Help
I am getting back into HOMM3 and have installed the newest WOG.
I don't know how to get a commander.
Give me a clue please, It's probably something simple I am missing but I am stumped.

BTW
I am playing the all in one WOG 3.57 package with no other additions. I installed HOMM3 complete before installing WOG.

I don't know how to get a commander.
It's rather simple really. In your selection screen, when you choose scenarios, see where it says WoG Options? Click that. Now you have a 4 page selection of options to choose from. In the second page I beleive, in the far right column, you'll see where it says Hire Commanders, and another Commander option. Make sure they are checked and now you should have Commanders.
Give me a clue please, It's probably something simple I am missing but I am stumped.

Still need help...
I still don't know...
In WoG options there are two choices in the "Enhancements and options" screen: 1) "Commanders are enabled" and 2) "Commanders must be hired"
If 1 is enabled and two is not enabled where can the commander be found during game play? Do I automatically have a commander when I create a new hero from the tavern? Can the commander be seen in the hero screen?
If both 1 and 2 are enabled where can I hire the commander? Is it in the town screen? Which building is the commander found in? Do I have to have the grail or a certain building built?

Just hit the spacebar if your hero starts inside the town. You can hire a commander when entering a town. As soon as you ride into the town, a dialog box should appear asking if you want to hire a commander if you have the commander option enabled in WoG Options.
