so what? after buying Josephine, Tazar Gunnar or Orrin might show up, then you discover a small con around the corner and find a kewl relic you can take week 3.
Randoms are full of luck, it's not restriced to starting town/heroes only. Not to forget that a bad starting setup always makes up for a nice excuse when somebody lost, since lacking skill cannot be the reason.

Every game I win because I was "so very lucky" is a game (read: opponent) I wish I didn't play.

Yes the game is a lot of luck , you can counter it with skill, but if you still add luck and more luck, well there is a point where the skill you need above the other is very huge...

Hey no offense but u need to get yr facts straight.
Dungeon could very well be the best random template town of all. ( i know i think it is )
just think of structures like summon portal and vortex..
and they got the most power early on in the game of all town types if u learn how to exploit that u will be very hard to beat.

I am sure that when you play this game for 2 yrs + you will be tired of playing every castle there is but thats not really the point is it
