In regards to the Lawful-Evil comment: I am actually an avid D&D player, and that alignment system is used in that game.

what about another different type of town for a change?
it would have creatures like fools and clowns, and on top level i guess there would be the infamous naked king.

well you already made a somewhat of a puppet town and i consider clowns(they could be your 1st level unit)asuppets that do the sam thing all the time.

I thought the town was a good idea, but now that I look at it on paper, Puppetmasters sounds pretty stupid.

level1:Wild centaurs to centaur spearmen:Wood stables
level2:elf general to wise elf[decent archer and spellcaster:Misty woods
level3:minotaurs to minotaur kings: labyrinth
level4:griffins to tamed griffins: Bird nests
level5:black stallions to nightmares: Torture stables
level6:behemoths to caged behemoths: Cliff caves
