Coincidental? You Tell Me...
Not sure if any of you saw or heard this in the news last week.Quote:

MARYSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Tennessee are telling a cheesy story.
Marysville police say they arrested a 23-year-old man wearing nothing but cheese early Sunday. He was allegedly carrying snacks stolen from a concession stand at a pool.
Police say they found Michael Monn's Jeep parked near the pool and then noticed his clothes and a bottle of vodka in the vehicle.
Then, they saw the naked man running toward the Jeep. Officials say he had cheese in his hair, on his face and on his shoulders.
Police say Monn smelled strongly of alcohol and wasn't fully coherent.

I could not help but think of RMS again. Then Dingo goes and revives this thread. I was laughing to myself thinking that I had not seen RMS post here in HC in a while, and that the above story is what had finally become of him! 
Consis, I must tell you that whenever I am making some type of treat for my little ones, every now-and-then Consis' "Brownie Day" comes to mind. I recall the post where you said your children ask you, "Is today Brownie Day?", and I smile when I picture that in my mind as well.
Kitten, you had best watch your sandy tongue, I hear Aculias is the jealous type...at least that's what Asmodean tells me.

I don't have too much to contribute to this thread. I often think of Romana and Hexa, but that's pretty much it. Plus it doesn't happen on specific occasions... it just happens =)
And I think of Beau every morning when I have breakfast hehe

That's probably why I fight with him so much. It's like we know each other so well that we have a blueprint for handling each other. If we had met in real life before this message board then we'd probably be friends. I like all the same stuff he does in music, movies, etc. Kinda weird I guess.
Hard to answer this. I agree that we have a similiar taste on certain things. I absolutely suck in running shorter distances, so I wouldn't have been much of a competition I guess. My favourite distances are from 10km (= 6.25 miles) to marathon (26+ miles). I have some issues with the US atm, so I guess we won't compete at Boston/NY/Chicago marathon any time soon. Although I don't like to say it (you might interpret it as trying to start a fight again, which I never did btw), I don't think you know very much about me. And that's ok, after all it's a message board. If you're a loyal person, there would be no reason against having become friends. But chance is we will never meet anyways; I doubt it's much of a loss for you ;-)

I have no problems with you. F.Y.I. my best 10k time was 1hr40mins. I'm fairly certain you could smoke that but I felt it was a good time. I love 10k's because you can always talk to the other contestants. I don't know how to explain it but everyone is always so friendly. Most of my 10k's were done in Albaquerque, NM. It's a real nice place to do them there. Lots of fresh air and the courses are beautiful.

you must be mixing up something. 10000 meters in 1h40min is impossible. Maybe you meant 10 miles ?
My PB on 10km is 37mins something; quite ok for an amateur runner, but laughable compared to a pro (world record = 26mins 20secs, by Bekele this year - scary!)
And I agree, long distance runners are the most friendly sportsmen I know.

1 mile = 1.6 km
15 miles = 24 km
6.25 miles = 10 km
15 miles in 1hr 40 mins would be excellent!

Whenever I'm playing Heroes 3 and I see someones avatar it reminds me of them. Like if I have Astral, a.k.a. Oldtimer, I make sure that, that Hero will not be my main.

Darn you, Foobums!
As I was getting ready for my day this morning, I went to grab my sweatshirt off the bannister. It was a Philadelphia Eagles Football sweatshirt, but from the way it was laying there and how it was folded, the only letters that could be read were FOO.
Unfortunately, as a result, I found myself thinking about TheRealDeal and Sir_Stiven...FooBums!.
I think I may have to write to the Ultimate Male now, because perhaps I have become afflicted with a mild case of cybergeekdom!

I was talking to my mom about the elections here, and she said " I gave up on believing in politicians" and I nearly screamed in terror... my first thought was OMG - not another "I gave up on thread" lol
Another one is that I have Hershey's Syrup in the same cupboard as my coffee canister, which tends to make me think of Consis - and Marshmallows make me think of Aculias So do pink thongs... but that should be a given
