Public Apology!
I am making this post to publically apologize to Mike11 for my statement in Gamespy that he and Arangar wanted the 2 low ranked players to feed the 2 high ranked players in Allied game.
I mispoke.... The main point I wanted to make was that I disliked that people in general that are playing allied games these days are wanting to combine and stack all artifacts and armies on 2 of the 4 actual players in the allied and have 2 mega forces go at it at end of game. I misspoke on the part of implying that it is always the low ranks that feed the high ranks, so I APOLOGIZE.
Bottom line is... with all the end game combining and stacking it ends up being a 1vs1 game only with DOuble army at end game. That is the point I was originally trying to make.

its not proved that 'feeding' is the best way to go on allied games...
i usually exchange arties with mate, but never give all to one..
how will other fight neutrals anyway?
and when will you know its 'end' so you do that you feed up?
and you must walk some only to do so..?

In H3 I played allied ALOT. And it was always understood that each player played there own armies. The ONLY thing that was shared or traded was resources and artifacts. If I needed 10 gems to make my titans I asked partner etc and vice versa. And if we had multiple swords we traded arts etc, no big deal, but never stacked armies. Each player fought with there own stuff etc. But times change I guess. To each there own.

for example..i asked abu for his ring of health ,last game..not cause im a selfish pig..but simply cause i had a fighter tactician-melee..while he had a hiding tactician..
also, always EDIT towns in player specs, so players in same team wont happen to have same town by lack..you avoid full fat cheese this way..
..not that one cant take both lev4's..but..
what the heck anyway...is it not a game? why spend so many hours to give my army and arties to mate lol

I agree.
Whoever said my lower ranked servant mr. balcough is feeding me is wrong! My heroes just happened to lvl a bit faster
I gave him like 3 sprites too, oh I'm so generous
Anyway, I think both players should be allowed to play the allied game. Besides, such a huge map as lisp is perhaps easier beaten by 2 instead of just 1?

And to make it clear, me and balcough have no intention of making 1 super army
We are both playing, and we will both be having armies in the end
Oh wait, was that what you meant by only 2 players having huge armies in the end?

Arangar, I know you and Balcough are not stacking. WE already agreed in that game to no do so. Someone was talking in GS about this subject and I opened my big mouth and started voicing my opinion about not liking the stacking thing with Valky and unintentionally mispoke that you and Mike started game with intentions of being fed and making 2 Mega Armies etc etc.
It all blew into a huge mess that was not intended. Thats why I made this public apology post to clear the air.
I think people can play how ever they want, just when game starts each team should agree to play with the stack/combine strat or without etc. Very simple.
ANd to make it even simpler and less confusing for the players that wish to play NO combine or stack allied games, all you gotta do is this::
No combine/Stack games = ONLY can trade resources and artifacts. No sharing army.

I guess so.
I do agree that each allied player playing their own armies is more fun for all, but I also think that part of the fun of allied is for 2 ppl to come up with strategies to win. If the opponent is stacking than you must counter that somehow. Every allied game I've played has been 2 seperate armies for the most part so stacking doesn't seem to be widely accepted. My first allied game was with Wolfy and it was me might and him Nature vs. Teacher Nature and Kolia might. I did feed him a lot, but it seemed natural for the might player to do that. I still had plenty of fun, so I don't think that having a lopsided army is not fun...just part of trying to win.
P.S. - Jinx, I alrdy told you that this wasn't necessary, but a discussion on allied games is always good.

i think every body can play their own way but if you say before game no stacking armies and agreed ( like as a rule ) then you shouldn't.
