This thread is mainly about TDS in the original version, just translated and bug fixed.

I play this map. Nice challenges at start. Xarfax Banshee and Angel are powerful. I played 2 game weeks. Should i focus on henchmens and Commander or build an army? I'm not skilled at WOG maps.
I remember when I got first my hands on this map, all was in chinese but I was confident in my Heroes skills, so built angels and went out to slaughter AI, then one hero with pikemans only killed all my angels in two rounds and I was like wtf.
The thing is: there is no "skill at wog", every custom map has its own set of rules and mechanics, so the proper quality would be adaptation. In this case, just consider what is stronger: a commander whose HP grows with each battle, or build level 7 monsters with fixed health. A commander with 10000 HP can take a lot of hits while a 250 HP monster not. You have your answer.

When I changed the angels/AAs/SAs alignement from Castle to Strongold some months ago, Angels evolved to AAs but AAs upgraded to Arrow Towers. Are u playing it inside Era? Maybe some other mod is trashing the vars. In my case the problem was constant but unfortunatelly I didn't checked if other sequences had been also altered.

I start Era from HD mod and my game goes fine for now.
Blinding undeads,slowing Diamond dragons,Banshee just doing her show.
The catapult thing comes somehow from Haart,whose speciality it is.
Took several reloads to get him.
Needed hit and run tactic with Gem.Those Diamond dragons die very hard.Decimated them first from 14 to 10 and then from 12 to 7.

Well,what I battle with,are my first henchman-the Banshee,with many abilities and perfect spellcaster,my second henchman-the Archangel(exAngel)with special abilities and my Commander.
Banshee casts random spells with highest effectiveness,as you see from the screenshot.
Creatures I may have later in my army,when I have the clone spell(right now I can ressurect).

I cleaned the 3 Emerald towers and began the quest of the Boots.
With scolar some of my heroes learned water walk and will visit them.
I was under the impression that Emerald towers can make skeletons alive,but it seems I don't remember it correctly.
Will try some demon farming with proper health ratio.

Nope, there is an option to turn other troops to Undead (that doesn't work properly, this was one of my early battles when I joinned HC) but there are no options to turn undead troops to Alive.
Yes, we had the same discussion years ago when I still didn't knew any ERM.
Pulver (I don't recall his HC alias) simply added the bits to flag the creature as Undead (like he did with everyother "special hability") and this is incomplete cause he didn't subtracted the ones for Alive and "Has Moral" and you end up with a creature that gives bad moral to herself and is vulnerable to liches death cloud. You awsered me that they could now be both Resurrected and Animated and this was reason enouch to keep the script as it was.
