Electronic music is my guilty pleasure. I even started learning how to make my own music, want to become a music producer in the future. I submit this video and song. Clearly this is the most art that music has been in centuries. After all, what is art but a work that inspires emotion? And a video that makes you laugh along with a cover that has you moving and feeling good is, in fact, wonderful emotion. And I love it.
In a similar vein. But for the exact opposite reason. I have not cried as hard as I did looking through the comments while listening to this song for three years, when a friend committed suicide the week before Christmas. It brought all of those emotions back, and reading all of the heartbreak and love that the song has inspired made those wounds raw again. And for a different, equally valid reason, this is art, and I love it with all of my heart.
