hey guys, im new here, just wanted to stop in and say hello i started out playing heroes 3, and got the 5th one when it came out + expansions, and must say, this series is just getting better and better http://heroescommunity.com/images/icons/icon14.gif
i do have a couple of questions though:
1. is there a program or something that one can download to play full games online with friends? not jsut dual battles or w/e that come with the retail game, where you and an opponent duke it out with preset heroes in one battle, but the whole build up castle, etc. scenario.
2. where can i find guides for the different factions and stuff? I admit, i am not all that great, but i try  and do they have up-to-date info? like, with the newest ToE expansion and stuff.

First of all, you can create custom deul hero presets in the Map Editor. And to play online, you don't need anyother program than Hamachi.

Hi everybody, I'm a noob to this community but not to HOMM. My wife and I love to play Heroes 5 together (dream girl!) and I have started playing with the map editor, and I would like to get better at it.
Also, I've been reading about the New Creature Framework and the NCF map editor pack, and I've downloaded these mods and some new creature mods that I want to try. I think I've followed the installation directions correctly, but the new creatures don't show up in the map editor. Could someone point me to a thread that addresses these issues?
