Check the red marked word. Many could...only few really do.

Heya!
Just thought I would stop in and say hey! I'm new here though I have been playing HoMM 5 for some time. I'll be starting HoF pretty soon. I'm a big fan of these games and own all the previous HoMM games as well as other same type games such as Age of Wonders, et al.
Strat, Adventure, RPG and FPS Stealth are my prefered game types. Oh, and awesome puzzle games like the Myst series are a lot of fun as well.
In the meantime, maybe someone here can point me to a thread or website that I can read which pretty thoroughly explains Duel Heroes?
Can't believe I've been playing this game all this time and never heard of it until I happened on the HoMM5 Website and saw a page for Duel Heroes.

Welcome NaS! Hope you'll have a good time.
@Joel1111: Herra is Finnish for 'Mister' or 'Sir', so I thought that he could be Finnish.

LOL @ everyone trying to figure out Herra. Herra af ungur áll, or something like that, says it better but still not what I wanted. More like "Choblyn Naf". As in Arglwydd chan 'r Choblynnod. (Welsh)
Joel1111 and Card_Ximinez are both right, however, it's route is from old Norse. And Joel is closer to what I meant by it. In the Original Norse language, it was the word for High Lord. The word is still used in Norse offshoots like Iceland or Finland. It's meaning has morphed over the centries and is now most commonlly used in Finland as a title for men equivelant to english "sir" or "mister".
I wanted a title that means Elf Lord in old Gaelic or Celtic. Unfortunately, I lost my shortcut link to the two free online translation sites for Gaelic and Celtic languages. And recent searches proved unfruitful to finding another one. (I'm thinking therefore that the ones I use to go to don't exist anymore!?)
No, I am not Finnish. I am roughly half French and half Native American. I have a lot of knowledge in Mythologies, (ergo I love Stargate SG-1 which is steeped in Ancient Egyptian, Norse, Greek and many other Mythologies), and I used the Old Norse word for 'High Lord' until I can get a true translation for Elf Lord in either old Gaelic or old Celtic. Though, in lieu of finding the Gaelic/Celtic translation, I just may change my name to the formentioned 'Choblyn Naf", which is Welsh for Elf Lord. Clossest thing to what I want... Location-wise... LOL

Greetings!!
So, hello. My name is Cat. (Interesting so far, aren't I?)
I've been a player of HoMM for approx. four years now. Ironically enough, one of my past significant others was the one who got me addicted to it, and I've been hooked on the game ever since!
It's sad, really, but I think what I loved the most was the blade dancers. I actually went as one for Halloween some time back. Crazy? Yes!
I've never interacted much with other HoMM players over the internet, though, so this is a bit new to me. Usually I just start up my game and enter my zone. Haha!
Thank you~!
~ Cat

Thank you for all the welcomes!
And thank you for the warning, too. I'll do my best to proceed with caution.
And there's nothing wrong with being a loon. It makes life all the more interesting! Yes? Yes.
