But it's a VW thread. There have been replies that have been very, very funny in the VW but they don't get a QP. This thread just doesn't, IMO, deserve one because all it is is one picture that has something to do with the previous picture, and that's what it is. It's not hard to find a picture that contains a hammer in it which is what the previous picture had.

Regarding Asheera's thread, I say nah. I don't exactly see how it benefits anyone. It is original yes but in my eyes, not deserving of a QP.

I will say I think everyone who is not a negative poster with a lot of yellow stars should atleast be considered for a red star removal of certain flood protects. they are not nonquality posters, therefore they are probably quality somewhere down the line at 1000 posts you know? lol

Hmmm, I know what you're saying but I don't agree with it. There is a reason why posters who have many yellow stars have no QP's, and it is because they post a lot but they do not make quality posts. They might make good posts though, but not worth any QP's. I mean, you could take me for example. I had Supreme status and about 0 or 1 Qps (maybe even 2 qps, not sure ), but I wasn't a member that should have had no flood protect or anything like that. You have to earn no flood protect and that is by posting quality. Darkshadow is an example I could use. He has over 1000 posts but not one of them can be considered quality, and I personally wouldn't think he is worthy (so to speak) of having no flood protect or anything like that. He has to earn them, just like everyone else has.
You know what I mean?

Oii oi slow down a minute here wil. Perception of quality is highly subjective (as you are well aware of) so please don't stuff like " not one of them can be considered quality" (EDIT: dude that line is pretty hard. Not cool.) because thats not true.
I think he has had some great replys but they were never regarded as OMG INSPIRING BENEFITTING THE WHOLE COMMUNITY style.
And I agree with alc .

Well as a Mod, I don't care if the person is popular or not. They write a good post they get a star (from me). They write a bad post, they get a warning, then a negative (cause I am a nice person like that) if they write another. Simple and effective.

No seriously. I already said that I agree with Alc fully on his previous argument but I can't really judge the thread since I left it at page 3 (it has since then grown 20 pages oO. My biggest "achievement" so far xD). But hey if you like it it's already good ^^.

Not cool eh? It was just my perception on the posts, plus it was just an example and not supposed to be taken 100% seriously. However, if some were quite good then he would have some QP's, right? Just like many other members that should have QP's but don't. Correct?

That's fine and of course you are entitled to your opinion but you need to make clear that that is what you think. Saying "not one of them can be considered as quality" simply isn't nice. No way how you put it. It just isn't wil. Sure you've said it's not suppose to be taken 100% seriously but still. If I told you that you suck (just as an example etc.) you wouldn't like that aswell would you? Of course you wouldn't. And while I'm sure you didn't write it the way you did to offend DS I hope you do realize that the sentence is rather hard.
And now to the real topic

Not at all. Quality doesn't mean QP. Because "Quality" can have a wide definition.
You see it's very much like the little conversation you and Alc had just above. For me some of Darkshadows replies hold the value that Alc has described and he doesn't get a QP for it. Darkshadow makes me smile and even laugh somtimes (it's not very often lol but it happens) therefore his posts do hold quality for me. Much more than many threads that have a shiny.

My goal wasn't to make you rephrase anything. I just wanted to point out that that sentence was messed up. But if you really want to know, yes the second one is much nicer than.

Quality IS subjective, that is why each MoD has their own deffinition of quality. Follow that up by the fact that each forum (like the Glade) requires their own individual deffinitions. For instance something that is quality in Other games exsist may not be in OSM or similar. Even something that I might find qp worthy in the tavern might not make the grade in the Glade.
