You can always do as I did.

I would suggest installing a CheeseIAm program, version 4.8 or up. That seems to resolve all problems.

Or go the other way and get hot chick69 pro . It is garranteed to keep your pc from locking up.However, it does tend to give your pc premature shutdown do to overheating.

Tru Hotchick Pro69 is a wonderful program...however...supermodelwife 8.6 is MUCH better to play! As you get to see the striptease 8.9 and hotbody 6.9! Add some silkpanties 7.2 and you'll be all set for wildnight 9.9!!

I recommend downloading Girlfriend 1.0 to test your system's compatibility with Wife (any).
1. If Girlfriend 1.0 crashes after running program Romantic Dinner, then the Girlfriend program is incompatible with your system. Try a different Girlfriend program.
2. If Girlfriend continues crashing, you may be running on the Bachelor system. You are incompatible with all Girlfriend programs.
3. If a Girlfriend program succeeds, attempt to download Wife 2.0. If Wife 2.0 is rejected, Girlfriend will uninstall itself and will decrease your Self-Esteem. A critical level of Self-Esteem may lead to your system being open to the infamous virus Suicide, causing a complete and irrevocable system crash. Avoid this at all costs.
4. If Wife 2.0 succeeds, the temporary file Marriage & Honeymoon will download itself, decreasing Stress and Money levels while increasing compatibility with Wife 2.0. Sex 3.5 and Gifts 2.8 are both recommended during this time. If all goes well, then Wife will remain on your system forever. This is the most desirable state.
5. If Wife 2.0 runs program Divorce 1.2, attempt to run Gifts 2.8 and Sex 3.5 to restore the Marriage program to normal running. If the Divorce program succeeds, the Wife and Marriage programs will uninstall themselves.
Note: The program Sex 3.5 may cause Wife 2.0 to run program Kids 1.0, which is occasionally upgraded to Twins 2.0. This program takes nine months to install, during which time Wife 2.0 is unavailable. The only way to stop Kids 1.0 from installing is to run program Abortion 3.2, but this is not recommended because Wife 2.0 may object, and it is a very controversial program regardless. When Kids 1.0 finishes installing, it will continually sap your system's Patience, Money, and Sleep levels. It has, however, a great effect on overall production that is not entirely understood. Sex 3.5 will stop producing Kids 1.0 after your system ages.
Warning: Attempting to run program Sex 3.5 with Girlfriend 1.0 instead of Wife 2.0 will cause Affair 3.0 to run, which runs the risk of crashing the system. Affair 3.0 is a bad program and should be avoided. It can also be initiated by running Girlfriend 1.0 and Wife 2.0 at the same time. DON'T DO IT!

Vadski, you forgot to mention that with wife 2.0 you get the software attachment motherinlaw6.66 and who in there right mind would install that ruthless dinosaur of a watch dog program, I thought I got rid of it with my old 486 but the program is virtually uninstallable. I have even reformatted my hard drive and she still wont go away. Wife 2.0, I'll never use that one again.

That's because there is no way to uninstall MotherInLaw 6.66. It's a virus that causes a sharp increase in Stress and Frustration levels. All of the Wife programs have the back door that lets it in, despite repeated efforts in program design to close it. Your only option to defend is to ignore the pop-ups it initiates.
