Very well, very well. You can have the Northwest terretories, Nunavut of Quebec. No one cares about those parts anyway. But you better keep your greedy hands away from Alberta.
As for the connection, just hijack a meteorology station and establish your capital there. You just have to accept that it is.... quite cold up there.
