Heroes Trails
Secondary skill/spell/speciality idea:
lets say its a speciality, a hero should be able to see steps trails of heroes, to see where he comes when he pass by, that could solve many problems searching opponent castle, sometimes(alot of times) i see passing by opponents heroes from a direction, then i go to that dirction and get get tha' hell lost, but with this skill, you can see opponents steps trail and follow them to their castle no prob's!! think about it! for a specialty it would be the best, for a spell... eahhh... for a secondary skill its... eahhh either. dont ya' think its great idea?? wow, thats my first topic from several days ago... whew. when now(in homm4) when you have "fog of war" it'll be very useful. if you have that secondary skill 'grand master' you'll be able to.. SMELL the trails and tell what creatures passed by... hehe i'm overeacting...

That's a pretty good idea! The logistics skill will have subcatagories now. I think a few of the would be normal logistics, pathfinding, and sneaking (it was in a pic). Maybe tracking could go in there. At normal level you could only see day old trails, but at grandmaster you can see trails up to a week old. Of course, the older ones would have to fade a little or you couldn't tell them apart. Sweet.

Yeah. I think you could find some info on it in the FAQ at Celestial Heavens or at MMPortals.com. I know I saw it and read it a few times.
The main 9 skills are Life magic, Death magic, Chaos magic, Law magic, Nature magic, Tactics, Logistics, Nobility, and Combat. Each of those has 3 smaller skills (I think).
This is from the FAQ at CH:
"What is certain is that the game now allows 9 primary skills with 3 secondary skills each. There are now 5 levels of mastery for secondary skills"
I couldn't find any pics clear enough to show this, but when I do I will post it here. Check over at Age of Heroes. Look at their Heroes 4 section, I think I saw the sneaking skill in one of their pics. Later.
Moderator's note:This topic has been closed, as it refers to an older version of the game. To discuss Heroes 3, please go to Library Of Enlightenment, to discuss Heroes 4, please go to War Room Of Axeoth.
