Win 98 and Zone problem - Need Help

For some odd reason, when I try to sign into the zone it won't let me.  I type in my handle and password, then hit sign in, then I get the "Can't find page" thing.  I have heard of several other people who have had this problem and got it fixed.  However, I can't get into the zone to ask them how they fixed it. LOL.  I would be greatful for any help.  Thx

Chubbs

I am using Internet Explorer 6.0

I guess the "guilty one" is not ure OS , but the IE version you have
open a browser, and click on upper right on help and ya'll see its version ( help---> about internet explorer )
and after that go to tools----> internet options--->security and there click custom settings, and enable youre cookies, that might be the problem
I've had one once like that

I checked the version like you said and it says 6.0..... (bunch of other numbers).  When I go into the security section and go under custom settings, I don't see anything about cookies.  Thx for everything so far

Getting to the web site isn't the problem.  I can get to zone.msn.com.  Then I click sign in at the upper right hand corner of the screen and that page comes up fine also.  So I type in my email address and password.  Then when I hit the sign in button on that page(the one that physically signs you in), poof, "The page cannot be displayed"

Thx for the suggestion though

Ok, I have deleted all the cookies.  Then I click the security tab, and then the custon level button.  But on the custom levels list, I don't see anything about accepting cookies at all.  I see stuff like activeX and stuff like that, but nothing about cookies.

Thx for your continued help wan, i really appreciate it

Hi Chubby

I use win 98 and it worked fine.  I upgraded to ie 6.0 with sp1.  With other sites i got the same message u got (although zone was accessable).  After trying different things i eventually just uninstalled/reinstalled ie 6.0.  Works fine now for me.  There is also a repair option you can try first.  Good Luck with it
