Dragons
It would be cool if there was a Dragon City. It wouldn't have to have the dragons of Heroes III but lesser species, so that it wouldn't unbalance the game. Perhaps the Dragon City would be created if there was a continuation of the Dragon's Blood campaign which included the return of the Dragon Father.
It would also be nice if there was a continuation of the Dragon Slayer campagin and the Dragon's Blood campagin. The end movie of both campagins hint that something else may happen with both of these campaigns, as if their paths may cross. It would be cool if you could pick to play either Dracon or Mutare and have a different campaign that would affect later campaigns.

The dragon utopia is better then the dragon city like H2.
As for dragon city - you have external dweling for it.

The Dragon Town would be a good idea, but don't you think that it is a bit to powerful? Just a thought.

Dragon Slayer/Dragon Blood Campaign - the Addendum
Just some thoughts:
After defeating the mighty azure, Dracon feel aimless for his life and just wandering around.............until he heard of the tale of Mutare........ and then decided to put up a challenge to her !
On the other hand, Mutare, knowing that Dracon had defeated all dragons, felt really mad about him and decided to take a revenge for his beloved dragons........
When they met, it is the beginning of an epic war : clash of dragons and titans.......................
Wait.........,after battles and battles, something strange happens...............

Mutare: "Well, this guy looks funny but he is really a dam* great marvelous spell-caster......, I never seen ppl using magic like that. It makes me......... "
Dracon: "With a dragon's head, she shall be disgusting, but how come I am so ........... addicted to her......, dam*, what a gorgeous body she has....., just could not put my eyes away from her........."

So they finally marry each other and give birth to a dragon-riding titan.... and starts a new legend........

pseudo-dragon(alotsmaller)
dragon flies(u know)
Drakes(smaller,longer neck, more of an air crature)
wyvern(related?
red,gold,silver,white& of-courese black dragons.
(i dont usually say this) *sweedaaassss*

I think the idear of a dragon city is a good one. (I think your talking about a place not a twon in HOMM3)Then maby ther could be a scetion when you see the dragons walking/crawling around and maby then could even talk to them and get them to join you.

By city I mean like a Castle or Inferno regular town, not an external dwelling. What I think would work well if there was a dragon city, would be if it sort of Anne Mcafferey type of Dragons, with little ones and big ones. Also if there was a continuation of the Mutare campaign, it would be really cool, if by creating the Power of the Dragon Father combination artifact, the Dragon father would return, and then Mutare and the Dragon Father would fly off into the proverbial sunset and hide away in a cliff, start makin babies (How do these Dragons procreate anyway?) and then the creation of the Dragon City. You can immagine it, Mutare and the Dragon Father sitting infront of a fire they made themselves, humans roasting, little baby dragons running around at their heels, aww it would be so romantic.

Since this was my topic to begin with, I think it would be very possible to do something with that. Dragons don't have to be big bad super killers, they could be little-annoying bitting things too. But I don't think that the Dragon City should mix different allignments, sure they look like they could be closely related, but it would make it kind of weird. Maybe just make smaller dragon models. Plus it would create morale probs. Since they are from different places, then morale probs would amount.

One major problem with this, as cool as the idea sounds: Having all flying creatures would be highly unbalancing. You can just send an army without a hero into the areas you're not supposed to be able to get to, have them come back with the goods and you become way more powerful than you were supposed to be.

I agree that a Dragon Utopia should be brought back, as Dragons are a vital part of the game. But a whole city with Dragons in it? There are too many, in H3, in H4, there are only 3 dragons. Increasing the number of Dragons would make them redundant.
A Dragon Rider hero sounds good though.

I agree with Preserver. Everything looks like we wont have Dragon Utopia in HOMM4. I afraid there'll be 4 types of dragons (2 types 2 upgrades).

That bites. HOMM needs more dragons. I sugest that each twon have a dragon as a level 5.
Haven: Life Dragon. All your creatures are +5 health for each Life Dragon in your army.
Academy: Order Dragon. All your creatures do maximum damage.
Preserve: Forest Dragon. Not visible as part of controller's army outside of battle.
Necropolis: Death Dragon. Each round, each stack it has attacked in a previous round loses 1 member. Doesn't apply to heroes.
Asylum: Chaos Dragon. Rtaliations against it are randomly redirected to any unit or hero on either side.
Sronghold: Desert Dragon. No bonus; high HP and damage.

I had an idea for a DragonMaster Town a long time ago... was going to post it then the computer crashed, so I lost the results of all the thinkin' I'd done.
But the basic idea was that there are all sorts of little dragon-relative creatures for troops (firelizards, dinosaur-like things, etc.. some fly, some walk, some spit fireballs) and the highest level creature generator was a Dragon Caller's hut, which when upgraded, had the POTENTIAL to call ALL types of dragons -- even an Azure dragon (but with an very low probability of doing so... other dragons would be much more common to get.) The weaker dragons would come in larger numbers (ie you get 4 green dragons one week, 2 black dragons the next week, one rust dragon the next...) Unupgraded Dragon Caller would get you only the low-level dragons (greens and reds) in pairs (with the Capitol.. singles otherwise), as if you had the unupgraded Dragon Cliffs or Dragon Cave. Flagging an external dragon generator would increase the probability of getting that type of dragon. The mixing of types of dragons would keep this castle type from becoming too powerful.
And the ultimate artifact would allow all the dragonmaster heroes to fly "dragonback" as if they had the Angel Wings.
