Something to Ease our Minds about Heroes V
This was posted on Chelestial Heavens, Round Table and I thought this might help ease some of our minds about what is to come with the Heroes series.
And so it happened that Heroes fans from the well-known Russian site, getting tired of waiting, sent a letter to Ubisoft...
Dear ...,
We, the fans of Heroes of Might and Magic™ series, are writing to you on behalf of the biggest Russian fan-site dedicated to Heroes IV, Heroic Corner. (There are 2500 daily visitors)
We are very concerned with the future of the HoMM series that became somewhat uncertain after the bankruptcy of 3DO.
Knowing that UbiSoft had recently purchased the Heroes of Might and Magic™ brand, we would like to know more about the future of the brand. In particular, we are especially curious about possible development of HoMM 5 that we are anxiously looking forward to.
Also, we compiled a list of desired improvements of gameplay to make a great game more balanced and dynamic. If you are interested in our help, we will be more than glad to send you the listyou’re your examination. Also, we are eager to help you with the game development, if you accept fan advices. For instance, we could conduct surveys or polls on various questions and issues.
In any case, we would greatly appreciate an answer. We are eagerly awaiting any good news about future Heroes games.

I am Ubisoft's producer for Heroes oMM 5. Thanks a lot for your mail 
We are still very early in the process of developping this title, however every help is welcome. We are very interested in all the community
contribution to the design of the next instalment in the serie ! It will be Thomas Legrand's core job on this title, to be the point of contact for all such discussions with the fan community. He is assisting me in producing the game.
Feel free to send us (to Thomas and me in cc) any idea and proposal you have. I cant promise we would include it, but it will definitely be
considered 
For later stages processes like polls we would also be interested in any help of course.

hence in about 2 weeks, I'm starting a thread 'Heroes 2005'. We'll discuss the future of ToH supporting homm, and how it will continue for the next 2 years before homm5 does appear.

and then, in 2005 I will make a thread called It's 2005 ... yeeey and 2nd post from Ubisoft is up on CelestialHeavens, they are halfway through the game

life goes on through expectation
homm4 gamemunnity started declining when some peeps started screaming bout balance issues and barbs, others think they know it all alrdy and have conquered the game..
.. wouldnt make sense if someone NOT get bored while thinking/feeling this way..
.. gee i get bored only to think of them think this way!
im not for 1-2 sessions per week my self, but thats where i wanted to control gaming addiction anyway..
game is still rich for me.. specially when you re NOT scanning new maps before play em

could you stop making the same threads both here and in myth section?
you will never get a decent discussion about these things if we are to split it up in two halves.
Make an incommon thread instead at ONE board and then its up to the players of the other forum if they wanna post in it or not.
But as things are now when same things are being said in both threads its just a toss.
Someone please delete all duplicate heroes V threads, heck ive seen the ubisoft mail to russian site 3 or 4 times now. Starting in heroesV forum and then 3 posts from kitten i think. Its just too much and brings nothing good out of it.
