To Disinegrate or Not to Disinegrate that is the Question???

I just had an amazing game with Zud.  Was Super fun.  But I do have a question, that I would like answered if anyone knows.

Previously in a game with Valkyrica, I cast disinegrate on one of his heroes expecting him to die and disappear. He died, BUT poof his immortality potion brought him back to life.  I was confused, I ask Valky, how can immo potion bring back a hero that is supposed ot be disinegrated???  He replys.... The Immo potions always work first.  Then he laughed and called me silly, and said, Disinegrate would be way to powerful if it killed the immo potion and the hero on 1 blow.

So now to my game with Zud. He casts Disinegrate on my Paladin ( that has Immo potion) and poof he dies and disappears instantly.

Can someone explain this to me?  Either it takes immo potion or it dont? Or does it randomly decide. BTW this is a serious post for answers, please no flames or tosses, only reply if you have serious input.

Itīs very strange, but Iīve seen both cases too. I think the disintegration is more likely to occur, I only saw once immo workings. It needs some tests to know how to predict it. Some thoughts: it works only if the target isnt with few hp already (did not take damage from other attacks), or maybe sorceress must do enough damage combined with target magic resistence to kill him twice.

tested it

imo pot was removed by disintegrate spell every time.

tried with high lvl heroes had magic resist so disintegrate couldnt kill hero with 1 cast, same result, disintegrate removes imo pot.

Thanks Targan.

I apreciate you testing it.

But that doesnt explain why it didnt take Immo potion away in my game with valky, and gustn and Zud both have said they have seen both ways.  So does that make it a bug?

Listen to the MVP!

Sounds like a bug, but there might be some percentage chance of "disintegrating" - maybe we should ask Equilibris team to check this for us if that is possible?
