*Before another word can be said, Gorman flies out of a twisting time portal and straight to our heroes.*

Mighty Mage:  Gorman?!  What the hell are you doing?

*Somthing is up.  Why would Gorman attack us if RSF was the one that trapped him.  And why would RSF head straight here instead of confronting the Unholy One?  The truth was coming out in the open and once again, the lies revolved around our resident Time Mage.  He obviously had no idea what he was doing...or did he.  Then somthing hit me.  If one crystal with the darkness of the Unholy One could corrupt us than what would happen if somone was around a very LARGE crystal filled with all of the Forsaken Ones.  Dear God, RSF could kill us all*

Mighty Mage:  I hate doing this...

*As Gorman continued to rush I could do nothing but fight back.  With a well aimed blast I sent Gorman Flying to the ground.  Electricity is pretty useful after all.*

Mighty Mage:  Now stay down.

RSF:  So what.  You took out the angel.  No matter.  I already figured out your stupid door.  Once I place this last crystal in the emerald the Forsaken Ones will be mine for the bidding...and theres nothing you can do about it...HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAA!!!

*Just to be sure I suppose, RSF gatherd enough energy to create another time warp.  This one was heading for me.  Not being to good with time magic I had no way to counter it....*

OOC: RSF is simply trying to get the pendant. The one who bears the pendant is said to gain control over the Forsaken Ones. However, what RSF does not know is that he will die and his body mutated and possessed by Motherdark. He will be an unrecognizable, hideous beast, more of the inherantly evil rather than the power hungry evil such as RSF. Oh and RSF would never reveal his plans to anyone. It's a cliche which can be used properly, however I don't think it fits as something that my character would do.

The ball of energy flies at Mighty Mage and the mage is trapped in time. His ally Dingo has summoned several spamlings already and has teleported behind Deimos ready to slap him. Gorman is starting to regain consciousness. Things are not going well for those on the side of good. RSF takes out his staff looks to charge Asmodean. He goes into a dead sprint. Asmodean gets ready to strike only to see the time mage sprint straight out of the room deeper into the corridors. They had no clue what was going on, but knew that they must follow him. He was after something. After what they did not know. Only RSF knew what he was after and that was the Pendant of Salvation. It was the only way to truly have control over the Unholy Ones.

Deimos: Dingo, why are you doing this?
Dingo: Because RSF is my ally and friend.
Deimos: Fool.
Dingo: NEVER CALL ME A FOOL!
Dingo prepared to slap Deimos.
Deimos: Slap ahead.
Dingo got suspicious.
Dingo: What's the catch?
Deimos: You!
Dingo, distracted by the talking, couldn't slap Deimos fast enough. Deimos lept at Dingo, knocking him down. As Dingo got ready to teleport, Deimos prepared to freeze him.
Deimos: EYAHHHH!
A spamling landed on Deimos. Deimos fell over. Dingo got ready to slap him.
Deimos: Fool.
Dingo: SILENCE! I WILL SLAP YOU!
Deimos: Fine, be a fool. I will have the side effects of your hypnotism, of course, and I won't be able to give you advice.
Dingo: Advice? What advice could you possibly give a god?
Deimos: You are a big-headed fool then.
Dingo: I'll kill you!
Deimos: Do as you will, fool. However, you will stay a fool for the rest of your short life!
Dingo: I am a god! I am immortal!
Deimos: But not very smart. One god can't hold up against 13 at the same time, especially if they're helped by a time mage.
Dingo: Thirteen... time mage?! What do you mean?!
Deimos: I will only tell you if you promise to not do me harm for now.
Dingo: I promise.
Deimos: Good. You are a god. Yet you could be stronger. You need more worshipers.
Dingo: I can get more-
Deimos: Don't interrupt me. RSF only needs you to help him release the Forsaken Ones. How long do you think he is going to help a ponential and powerful enemy when he controlls 13 servants, mighty servants?

*A day has passed since RSF cast Mighty Mage into limbo.  So much has happened since then.  Things done that could not be undone. Suddenly...*

Mighty Mage:  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...man, what a head trip.  Huh?  Where is...everybody?  $hit.  DAMN THEM!

*As Mighty Mage expresses his anger over the situation, elsewhere RSF is trying to command his new pets*

RSF:  Listen up, all of you.  I am your new master.  You will refer to me as your lord.  My commands will not go undone.  Is that clear?

Feraleena:  And why should the Drak Ones listen to a mage?

RSF:  Because I have your crystal thing.

Feraleena:  So...?

RSF:  So it's magic grants me power over you.  In other words, do as I say or your very existence shall be ended.

Tytan:  Tytan listens to NO mortal, especially puny macic man.

*Just then a cloud of brimstone and fire appeared revealing Grathamel, the Lord of Demons*

Grathamel:  Listen mage, you may have our crystal but I believe you do not know how to use it.  Tell me then, why should I obey your comands.  If anything I should be slaugtering you right now.  The only reason I haven't is due you releasing us.

*Grathamel was smart.  Being one of the older of the brothers he knew much.  He could see into RSF's heart, thought he would never let RSF know that.  Smarter still was Ba’althinor.  Having a dull appearance was always part of his plan.  What most never expected was his power over the elements.  Greater than Mighty Mages control, he could bend them to his will at any given time.  He would go along with RSF for now, control or not.*

Ba’althinor:  Quiet Grathamel.  Ok mage, we shall follow your commands on the condition we regain our old territories.  If this is not done we shall feast upon your corpse.

RSF:  Good.  Our first move is to find the rest of your brothers and sisters.  They could be anywhere.  I want to find the Unholy One first.

Tytan:  Brother Unholy?  Tytan thought he died.

Ba’althinor:  As a matter of fact, we all did.  When he did not appear in the rock with the rest of us we had assumed the mages did away with him.  How long has he been among you Time wizard?

RSF:  A couple of weeks I guess.  He showed up on the outskirts of that town in the distance.

Grathamel:  Look Ba’althinor, a new town has arison since our rule.

RSF:  Ok, enough talk, you had thousands of years to do that.

Grathamel:  Don't you tell me to...

Ba’althinor:  Hold your tongue Grathamel.  This is our master.

*Obviously liking this attention, RSF held his head high and began to march forward giving a command every now and then.  Back in the Emerald Chamber, Mighty Mage is trying to find his way out.  With the door sealed and the pendent taken there was little chance of his escape.  All but one crystal, the flaming ruby were gone.  RSF must have them.  In a hurry he must have left one.*

Mighty Mage:  Argh!  That stupid little man.  What was he thinking?  Humph.  He's probably already dead.  Control the Forsaken Ones...GOD.

*Just then Mighty Mage glanced over and saw Gorman lying on the floor.  Feathers were everywhere and a black outline lied around him on the floor.  He was dead.  Mighty Mage had killed him.*

Mighty Mage:  Oh no...Gorman...I...I...

*Mighty Mage stared in disbeleif at the sight.  Without his god he never stood a chance at survival.  Would Mighty Mage follow the same fate?  If he didn't get out of there he would.  And what of the others?  What happened to them?  That's it, it's time to act.*

Mighty Mage:  Alright, It's time to use my sword.

*Mighty Mage withdrew his crystalic sword, lit with power, and rushed at the door.  With a sudden lunge he thrust his sword ito the crystal machanisim which kept the door sealed.  sparks, smoke, and magical beams escaped giving way for Mighty Mage to deal a final blow.  Throwing aside his cape, Mighty Mage pulled out his staff and sent a firey blast at the smoking door.  With a blast it flew open ripping off it's hinges and falling to the floor.*

Mighty Mage:  Well, that was easier than I thought.

Unknown Voice:  Hello mage.  I figured you would eventually get out.

Mighty Mage:  Who's there?  Who is it?

Unkown Voice:  You should have studied your history mage for I am none other than Alivia, the Assassin Queen.

Mighty Mage: Alivia huh.  Let me guess, you intend on killing me now.

Alivia: Precisly.  AHHHHHHHHH!

*With a jump, Alivia issued a kick to Mighty Mage hiting him dead in the chest.  Preparing to move again, she jumped into the air this time with fists moving at lightning speed.  Seeing the oncoming danger Mighty Mage moved quickly to the side avoiding the deadly attacks.  Relising she missed, Alivia cartwheeled over and drew two throwing stars.*

Mighty Mage:  I don't think so you little...

*Before he finished Mighty Mage pulled out the Flaming Ruby sending instant fear into Alivia's eyes.*

Alivia:  N...nno, not that.  How did you get that?

Mighty Mage:  It looks like your new master forgot a little somthing.  Such a shame really.  You arn't a bad fighter...except you do hit like a girl.

Alivia:  WHY YOU...

*Mighty Mage focused the ruby on her and sent an energised blast zooming at the fleeing Forsaken One.  This was not like Mighty Mage's fire blasts.  These followed their target, an unfortunate feature for Alivia.  A square hit in her back sent her flying across the floor, parilizing her instantly.*

Alivia:  Ughhhhhh......

Mighty Mage:  Thanks for the nice evening love.  We'll have to do this again sometime.

*With that, Mighty Mage headed for the stairs and soon for the library's exit.  Playtime was over.  This was serious now.*

The unholy one hears words of all the forsaken ones being released, and quite worried, he sets out to where RSF is with the four horsemen by his side. He see's MM fleeing the scene.  The four horsemen stop him in his tracks, surrounding him.

Unholy One: Mage, i have no time to fight you. Tell me what happened now. I shall set you free.

MM prepares to fight, but sees he is heavily outnumbered.

MM: Gorman is Dead. RSF has summoned all of the Forsaken ones and holds them under his command. Dean and Deimos have dissappeared. I fear Deimos will be controlled by the demonlord thingy, whatever his name is.

Unholy One: All of the forsaken ones???

MM: Yes.

Unholy One: Alright. You may go.

MM runs off. The unholy one and the four horsemen go down to where RSF his holding his meeting.

OOC: I shall do my best to try to get my plans to mix with the post by MightyMage. *sigh*

The time mage reached the vault containing the pendant. There appeared to be nothing there to stop him from just walking up and taking the pendant, which was floating in the middle of the room high above an altar. He approached the altar and realized that the pendant was far too high too reach and getting it down would be difficult.

Fortunately there were scriptures written on the several faces of the altar. It was indistinguishable for RSF, written in such an ancient language, so he got out one of the books from the library. It was a spell that would translate the scriptures for him. Apparently the scripture wasn’t even written in any language at all, but a encrypted code that could only be unlocked by means of a magical spell. He cast the spell the symbols on the altar began to glow. They rearranged themselves to form instructions for another spell, apparently one to get the pendant down from its unreachable levitation.

The spell tripped up RSF. It was very complex and required thought patterns that he had never used before. But he soon cast it successfully and the pendant lowered itself down to eyelevel. RSF reached in and grabbed the pendant and placed it around his head. The crystals began to glow brightly. The ruby burnt him. The sapphire froze him. It took all his strength to carry them.

RSF: “My trusty time-trap spell will do the trick.”

The spell failed. He tried it time and time again. But it was useless. Then came something quite unexpected. It first started with a small tremor and then got bigger and bigger. It turned into a violent earthquake causing the time mage to lose his balance from time to time. RSF was panic-stricken. He rushed back to the emerald chamber. The ground had finally stopped shaking and everyone was nowhere to be found. He checked the crystal and found it to be empty. The Forsaken Ones had already been freed. He approached it for closer inspection and it glowed brightly, fading in and out. It caused RSF great pain to be near the crystals and the time mage instinctively ran out of the catacombs dropping all of the gems on the floor.

But another surprise came to the time mage. He stepped outside looking to find himself back in the library. However, the library was gone as well as the small town. In its place was a massive city built in the shape of a pyramid, then entrance to the catacombs being at its peak. He could see the entire town from here. He looked above him and found there to be a giant beam of light coming out of the top of the pyramid. This must be coming from the Master Emerald. There were mirrors and prisms above. Shining the light on him. There was something different about the light coming from the emerald. RSF felt as if he had been stabbed in the heart whenever its light was shined upon him. The time mage could do nothing but flee from the town in agony.

By morning he had found the Forsaken Ones and began giving them orders.

As Dean listened his fear grew more and more with each word.
Grathamel was free and every second they spent in Deimos' company endangered them, as Grathamel would be able to sense him if he was close.
Not that any of the others were less dangerous, Feraleena would take great pleasure in corrupting a Summoner to do her bidding, and if any of them ran into Illyria, well; they would become willing slaves to the evilo temptress.
Dean had already sent a message to the Royal Order as soon as he knew they were loose, and hopefully a contingent of mages were on their way.
But what were they to do now?....

Vadskye looked around him.  Before MM had been able to stop Gorman, Gorman had already dealt a strong blow to Vadskye.  Although the sword's slash was dulled enough to not simply cut him to ribbons by his magical armor, Vadskye still felt the blow.  He was sent off to the side by its power, and Vadskye was too stunned to move or react to all that took place after.  Vadskye must have slipped into unconsiousness at one time or another, but he awoke when he felt the power of the Forsaken Ones on the world again.  Vadskye got up shakily, and started to make his way out of the cave.  He didn't know where the others were, but he knew he had to get to Order Fort so he could find his Book that would heal him.  Vadskye just had to keep going... keep going... keep going...

Dingo watches all the commotion.  Everyone seems to have lost their mind.  RSF has disappeared and everyone else is worried about the Forsaken Ones.  Dingo decides that the War with the Forsaken Ones is pointless.  Let them take over the world.  What will they do kill him?  Dingo chuckles at the thought.

Dingo:  They can try.  No luck in trying to kill a God.  Haha.

As Dingo leaves he sees four housemen and the Unholy One.  He simply smiles and walks past them.  Their plan of World Domination would be interesting.  Dingo shouldn’t spoil their plans, since they are similar to his.  He could either fight the Forsaken, join the Forsaken or just not interfere.  Dingo decided it would be nice to go back to his Throne and lurk around the Palace of the Gods.  After a long stroll throw the woods, and though the town, he finally came to his Throne.  He sat in the Throne and left this world.

OOC: I’m out.  I might return someday.  Please try not to mess with my character.

*They were safe...for now.  The Master Emerald was weak and would take time to fix.  So much energy flowing out of it, it was bound to shatter in places.  While Dean alerted the Council, Mighty Mage sent a slightly different letter.  This one was sent directly to the Gaurdians Council.  By now they were aware of the Unholy One's presence.  Boy will they flip when they find out that all of the Forsaken One's have been released.  Worse still, Mighty Mage had failed in his duties.  He was the only living relative of a line of gaurdians and he screwed up.  The council would go easy on Vadskye, he had only recently become a gaurdian.  As it turned out, the Flaming Ruby's old master suffered a heart attack about a week after the robbery.  The council ahd little choice but to grant gaurdianship to Vadskye.  Dean was also relitivily new at the gaurdian thing.  Before he left on his mission he was granted gaurdianship of the Water Saphire.  And RSF?  The council probably didn't even know he had the Land's Opal.  It's former gaurdian was the evil Mvassilev.  How he bacame a gaurdian is still a mystery to most.
Mighty Mage looked down in his hand to see the Flaming Ruby.  It was a start but still wouldn't be enough.  It's powers could only attack the Forsaken Ones and without it's parent weapon, the Firery Morningstar, it would be difficult to leave much of a mark.  The other crystals had to be found and if possible, their weapons as well.  If the Forsaken One's got ahold of their power...then well.  Mighty Mage didn't even want to think of that outcome.
As he continued to think, Dean walked up to join him*

Dean:  What's that?

Mighty Mage:  Another letter.  This one I'm sending to the Gaurdian's Council.

Dean:  Arn't they a part of the Royal Order?

Mighty Mage:  Yes but it's a tad difficult to actually speak with them.  I'll be lucky if this letter even reaches them within the next two months.

Dean:  They'll have our heads when they find out.  We were supposed to gaurd those things.  Now look.  We've got nothing.

Mighty Mage:  We have the Flaming Ruby.

Dean:  So, that's Vadskye's.  It will only make us look worse.  We are actual members.  Vadskye just...he just got lucky I guess.

Mighty Mage:  I knew we shouldn't have trusted RSF.  He was trouble from the start.  Gorman is dead, Dingo wandered off somwhere, RSF is still an evil maniac and now has control over an army of pure darkness.  All we have is a thief who thinks he's a mage and that blasted Magog.  Even he's of little use.  Once Grathamel shows his ugly face he's useless.

Dean:  If it comes to that, you know we may have to kill him.

Mighty Mage:  I know.  Have you talked to him?

Dean:  Only briefly.  I don't think he's said more than five words to either of us.

Mighty Mage:  What's Vadskye doing?

Dean:  I think he went to go look around.  He may be over at the library...or what's left of it.

Mighty Mage:  God, how did this happen?  I never thought in a thousand years I'd have to battle a hoard of mage hungry monsters.  I only came out this way to settle a war.  Next thing I know I've got myself involved in this.  Wonderful.

Dean:  There was nothing that could have changed this.  It was going to happen sooner or later.

Mighty Mage:  I should have listened to my gut though.  Why did I EVER trust RSF?  The man tried to kill me.  If that isn't enough now he's released these abominations.

Demios:  Don't forget the pendent.  He has the pendent now too.

Dean:  Shut up Demios.  You don't have to make things worse.

Demios:  Well sooooory.  I didn't mean to interupt the almighty mages.

Mighty Mage:  It's ok Demios.  You didn't mean anything by it.  It's good you popped up.

Demios:  Are you feeling ok?  You never talk nice to me.

Mighty Mage:  Just listen.  The Forsaken One's are free now which means Grathamel is free.  Do you understand any of this?

Demios:  Yeah.  Doesn't mean he's gonna control me.  I have strong will power.  Besides, I'll just freeze him or somthing.

Dean:  I'd like to see that.

Mighty Mage:  Enough.  Let's see if we can find Vadskye.  We'll discuss what to do once we find him.

Dean:  You arn't going to give him the ruby back are you?

Mighty Mage:  Of course I am.  It's his burden after all.  I have to find the Zypher's Emerald and you need to look for your crystal.

Demios:  What about RSF's crystal?  Are you going to give him back his?

Mighty Mage:  Hell no.  As long as he is not an official gaurdian than he will not have his paws on that crystal.  If I can help it anyway.

Dean:  I'm with you on that one.  Say, when you were down in that chamber did you happen to see the ice mace?

Mighty Mage:  No, just Alivia and she'll be out for a few hours.  Speaking of which we should go restrain her.

Dean:  Oh yeah.  Jeez, I hope she didn't wake up.  If Vadskye is in there than she may attack him.

Demios:  Let's go than.  Man, you mages talk too much.  Less talk and more action.  Come on.

*So the three went off in search of Vadskye with the crystals clinging to their thoughts.  Demios understood the nature of this trouble but seemed to block it out.  Dean was only concerned about retrieving his lost weapon.  Mighty Mage on the other hand had thoughts of a world ruled by darkness.  If they wern't contained then this would come to be.*

I walked down the stairs with MM and Deimos, pondering what MM had said. Whatever MM thought, I knew that the best chance of defeating the Forsaken Ones was with the crystals and their weapons - why else would they have been made if they weren't the best tools for the job?

As we entered the room MM motioned for silence then pointed at a dark figure on the floor.
Alivia........One of the Forsaken Ones, right there in front of us! If she were to wake up.......

I trid to remember everything I'd learned about the Forsaken Ones, and Alivia in particular. It was all so general, nothing specific. No-one expected millennia old legends to start terrorizing the world again!
Alivia, she was once a human woman, who went over to the side of the Forsaken Ones during the War Of Power leaving her family behind, was granted immortality and other gifts in return for some kind of service.....wasn't she an assassin? I can't remember!
Probably the only way she could have been knocked unconscious was because she had been a human once. That might give us the edge over her.
The others, being the embodiment of magics for the most part, gave them a natural resistance almost. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case here.

I motioned the others back a few steps so we could talk:

'Anyone got a plan?', I asked.

'Not really', said MM. 'Ropes won't hold her, and as far as I know she's unkillable. Do you have any suggestions?'

'I could freeze her!' piped up Deimos.

'Not now Deimos!' snapped MM. 'This is serious busine-'

'That's it!' I said quickly. 'Freeze her! MM, if you and I can fill that whole room with water quickly, Deimos can freeze it and she would be trapped in a solid glacier. Then we can both cast Ever-cold spells on the ice so that it won't melt. It might not keep her there indefinetly, but she'll be out of the way and we won't have to worry about her being right behind us'.

MM hesitated...'Dean, I know you're good with water magic, and I'm brilliant with it, but look at the size of that chamber. The minute that water hits her she'll wake up, and I don't think both of us together can fill that room quickly enough'.

I smiled. 'Leave that to me'.

Closing my eyes I felt the thrill of magic racing in my blood and I became aware of the moisture around me, in the air, on my skin, in our three bodies as we stood there. Concentrating I opened a void to the elemental plane and sent a message
....Come.....

Out of the void poured water elementals, more than I had ever summoned before. The effort needed to fix them in my mind was immense. I had to be aware of every single one, and give them their form by my will alone. But I was the best summoner the Royal Order had, and I was up to the task. MM and Deimos looked at me in amazement as over fifty water elementals filled the corridor and began to spill out into the room where Alivia lay.

'Ready' I said, the strain thick in my voice.
'Now!'
With the force of a tidal wave, MM and I, and my water elementals let loose a torrent of water. Blasted to the back of the chmaber I heard Alivia shriek in surprise and rage, then frustration as she fought to make her way forward to get us.
But she couldn't the force of the water was too much, and I made sure my water elementals kept the focus of the torrent on her.

'NOW DEIMOS!' shouted MM, as the water rose higher and higher, already lapping around our knees.
Deimos lifted his hands, and his normally red scales flashing to blue, his eyes gleaming with an icy white light. A gust of freezing cold wind blasted by me, and where it touched the water it instantly turned it to solid ice.
I could see Alivia ripping her legs free of the ice that encased them, as she struggled against the blasting water and freezing wind. But she was fighting a losing battle.
The water in her clothes and on her skin was freezing as she moved, and her movements were becoming more sluggish.
After a time, the water had reached her head, and she was encased from the neck down in a block of ice, and as we poured on, she became totally trapped, the ice so thick we couldn't see her through it's dense blue walls.

Banishing the water elementals I said to Deimos, keep it up until we have this spell in place, or she may break free ok?'
Deimos nodded and kept up his cold attack.
MM wove his spell first, a keeping around the block of ice to stop it melting, and the Ever-cold spell. Useful for storing food in the Order's kitchens, it had another use here.
Adding my own version of the spell to re-enforce MM's I allowed myself to sit for a minute as we caught our breath and wathed the ice for any sign that Alivia could be breaking free. There was none.
Finally we stood up, and Deimos said:
'I think we should go look for Vadskye. It's not safe for him alone'.

It's not safe for us three either I thought, but he was right. We couldn't leave our comrade alone out there.

*So we set off, leaving the Assassin Queen trapped in a block of magical ice, to look for Vadskye. I hoped the Order sent help soon, this was getting way out of hand*

The Unholy One ventures to where all the forsaken ones confer

Unholy One: So. Its true. You guys are finally free.

Grathemel: Ah. Brother Unholy. Im curious. How long have you been free.

Unholy One: About three months now. That is unimportant.

Ba'alithnor: Actually, it is quite important. Why did you release them. He points in disgust to the Four Horsemen, who stand behind the unholy one silently

Unholy One; well. Err. You have to understand that i've not had an easy time. I tried multiple times. Then i couldnt find you. I found these Four imprisoned with me.

Tytan: Tytan thinks you liar!!!!

Unholy One: Silent you ignorant fool.

Ba'alithnor: Enough! You kept us imprisioned, in hopes that you would take over the world yourself. You will pay.

Ba'alithnor draws  a circle of fire around The Unholy One, calls a storm above his head, and proceeds to put a frozen cocoon around him. As if reading his mind the Four Horsemen spring into battle. Dissension has already begun among the Forsaken Ones. War charges into the midst of battle, foolishly and bravely. He swings his mace in all directions, hitting whatever he can. Pestilence swarms inside Tytans ear, and proceeds to eat away at his brain. Grathemel changes the tide, when he calls apon the burning hells and calls apon a few demon servants. They quickly tackle famine off his horse and tear him apart rather viciously. Death is powerless, as no forsaken one can kill another.  Ba'alithnor points at War, and calls a lightning bolt onto his mettalic armor. He falls off of his horse and writhers on the ground, shaking uncontrollably. He spits out fire at pestilence, burning him to a crisp. Famine and Death retreat and grba the unholy one. The venture back upstairs and find Alivia frozen. They grab the block of ice as well. Apon leaving the library, they venture out to the masoleum. They turn and spot a magogs firey tail.

Unholy One: Deimos! Dean! Mage!

The Unholy one and the two surviving horsemen walk up to them.

Unholy One: As much as i hate to do this. I think it would be in..err..both of our best interests to work together. FOR THE TIME BEING ONLY! The other forsaken ones are ten times more dangerous than i. I am suggesting we work together and re-seal them. I Can also prevent your friend Deimos from being taken over. The Offer stands. You know where to contact me. The two horsemen mount their horses, Death takes the Unholy One, and Famine grabs the block of ice containing alivia. They ride back to the mansion.

Famine: When do you expect a reply???

Unholy One: Soon actually. Im betting Ba'alithnor did this to Alivia here.

Famine: Perhaps. What are we going to do about War and Pestilence?

Unholy One; They are fine. Stunned, hurt for the time being. They will get away fine. Trust me.

Famine: I feel we should go back for them.

Unholy One: and i say not. They will come back to us.

Deimos: An alliance...
MM: How can you even think about allying with such evil creatures?!
Deimos: Allying... I think not. However, we can create a false alliance. Then we strike them down!
Dean: The Forsaken Ones are not fools.
Deimos: This Unholy One seems to be.
Dean: His four horsemen will not be fooled.
Deimos: If my plan works, we'll needn't worry.
MM: So, what's your plan?
Deimos: It could work, but we need Vadskye. The four of us come down to the Unholy One and say that we will ally with him. He will trust us. Then, when he is not looking, we attack the Four Horsemen. We have to be very quiet. I suggest Vadskye steals something of theirs, and when they run after him, the three of us will set a trap. We will freeze the Horsemen, then disguise ourselves as them. We will battle the other Forsaken Ones, and when we sieze victory, I will trap the Unholy One in ice, when he isn't expecting.
MM: We need to find Vadskye.

As the magi and magog continue on down the road, a shadowy figure lurks unnoticed in their wake, waiting for the opportune moment to strike out at the weary travellers. They would pay for what they had done. Oh yes, they would pay.

Earlier, in the study...

A dark figure is hunched over another, watching and waiting for his ancestor to awaken, hoping that she would.

"Who did this to you, mother?" as the shadow mage had already begun to call her in a twisted mode of affection. "Who could defeat you so quickly? A Forsaken One already fallen? Impossible." He was unaware that she was not dead, and he simply sat, on the edge of tears, detached from reality until it snatched him back with an echo.

Footsteps rang through the hallways and Shadowcaster stood and drew his sword, waiting. But the shadow mage was no fool, he knew that he was in no condition to fight. Slinking into the shadows, Shadowcaster waited with baited breath for the intruders to reveal themselves. Perhaps it was those meddling interlopers returning to the scene of the crime.

He was right. A short conversation between the trio revealed that they were indeed guilty, or more specifically, the mage in the center. Shadowcaster could not catch a good glimpse of the three, though, and he could only wait in the shadows for now.

Suddenly, the summoner of the group raised his hands into the air and called forth hordes of water elementals. Had he been discovered? No, they were still focused on Alivia. The shadow mage stared at his "mother", and watched as the elementals cohesed to form a rushing torrent that batted the assassin queen into the wall.

"Mother!" Shadowcaster called out through the storm, and even though his voice had been drowned out by the rapids, she caught a glimpse of her descendant before passing out. She was alive! The shadow mage's hope had been restored, but as he ran to escape the flood, which he was able to do since it was not directed at him, he looked back and saw the block of water turn into a block of ice. She was gone, again. He had to get her out.

Shadowcaster readied his daggers and glared in the direction the trio had been standing, but they were already gone.

He sunk to his knees in front of the iceblock and put his hand on the surface in a lost hope of reaching his mother inside. The ice was very cold, and it would not melt for thousands of years if left alone. Taking the chance to expend the rage that had built up over the past few minutes, Shadowcaster unsheathed his sword and swung at the solid block. And solid it was. Again he swung, again no mark. Losing his frail temper, the shadow mage began to hack madly at the ice, in hopes of freeing his ancestor in time. As the last of his energy left him, Shadowcaster slumped to the floor, noticing that he had succeeded in knocking only one small chip of ice away from the rest. He took the piece and pocketed it in memory of Alivia. She was, again, dead to him.

"Those bastards, why couldn't they just leave us alone," he shouted to the air. "I will not let them escape."

He rushed out of the study and into the piercing sunlight. No clouds were out this day. The shadow mage looked around as soon as his eyes had adjusted to the blinding sun, but the magi and magog were nowhere to be found. Cursing, he returned to his mother's "grave".

But there were now new occupants of the room. That Unholy One and two of his horsemen buddies now stood peering at the still figure inside of the ice. After a brief moment, they grabbed the iceblock and rode right past the shadow mage out of the study. Thankfully, they had not seen him, as he had been shrouded in shadow.

Not wanting to lose all leads to his mother, Shadowcaster dashed after the horsemen, who were slowed by the strange light that emenated from the gigantic prisms that had been scattered throughout this newly surfaced city. He followed them for days until they reached the mausoleum where he had first met them not long ago.

Cautiously peering around the corner, Shadowcaster saw that there were not one, but two trios now standing in the fallen temple. The three he had followed, and...two magi and a magog! Recognizing the summoner from the study, the shadow mage pieced together that the Mighty Mage from long ago was responsible for his heartache, but the other two had helped kill Alivia. They were responsible as well. As the two parties parted ways after a short and unsteady conversation, Shadowcaster set after his new goal: the three he now hated more than anything else. Revenge boiled in his blood once more.

A Day later, just like the unholy one  promised, War and Pestilence come dragging back in, intruppting a conversation between Famine and The Unholy One

Famine: I Still dont think its a  good idea to trust these mortals.

Unholy One: Who said anything about trust? They are naive if they expect me to actually Trust them. I wouldnt trust them with a feather.

Famine: Then what are you going to do?

Unholy One: Well when we seal the other forsaken ones up, ill just kill them there on the spot. Oh look. She's starting to wake up.

Alivia: Where am i??? Who-YOU!

Unholy One: Well well well. If it isnt the "queen" of vampires. Say. How was your sleep?

Alivia: Grr. Where am i???

Unholy One: in my masoleum. Safe. I could have left you in the library where you would have been undoubtedly killed.

War: Were back.

Pestilence; whyyyy deeeeed you leave usssssss???

Unholy One: Had to. I will explain later

Definetly, find Vadskye' I said. 'This is going to take all the resources we have, and I'm not so sure about this false alliance with the Forsaken Ones. You can guarantee it'll be false on their part too'.

Deimos seemed to think it over, 'Let's find Vadskye first. I may have an idea where he is'.

We followed Deimos as he led us on, hopefully to find Vadskye and return the Ruby to him.

Suddenly a slash of glimmering light appeared in front of me and chimes rang out into the air. A message from the Council!
Completing the spell I sent my own chimes through the slash of light and waited.
The light began to take form and dim until it was a rolled up piece of parchment, tied with a red ribbon and sealed with the Royal Order's sigil, hanging in the air.

Snatching it out of the air I read it aloud:

Dean,
We have received your letter and are most concerned with the tidings you bring us. It is a relief to know that all four gems are in the vicinity, and we charge you that your first priority should be to retrieve them.
We have assigned two of our number to travel south and meet you and MM. They will give you all the help you need and should be of use in your situation.
At this time, we are marshalling an army against the prospects that you might fail.
Do not.

I wonder who they're sending' asked MM.
'It doesn't say', I replied, but they'll be here soon. They'll be able to track us magically so I say we continue our journey and let them find us once we have Vadskye'.
'Good idea', said MM.

Deimos continued to lead us to where he thought Vadskye might be. Somewhere called the Order Fort....

RSF: “Good work my legions. Let me dispose of these unruly horsemen before they give us more trouble.”

Tytan: “We bash them and now you take credit?”

Ba’althinor: “Relax. The time mage is not taking credit. I think he means to prevent them from returning. Correct?”

RSF: “Thank you, Ba’althinor. Now stand back while I cast this spell.”

The time mage begins casting the time trap spell, creating a ball of energy with his hands. The ball of energy seems to form instantaneously.

RSF: “Oh, the power of this pendant! I love it!”

The ball of energy shoots out at the horsemen and the mouths of the Forsaken Ones hang open in total shock as the two horsemen disappear. RSF immediately decides to head for the Cursed Forest where he had once built an enormous fort with the help of Dingo only just a few weeks ago. But where had the newly born God gone? He hadn’t seen his ally in over a week. RSF wasn’t too broken up about it. He didn’t need him anymore. He had all the power he needed.

RSF: “Stop daydreaming and let’s get moving we have work to do. We need to set up a base of operations, then take care of the Unholy One and the remaining horsemen. We need the base to imprison the other unruly Forsaken Ones, since they are immortal and cannot die.”

The foursome follows the time mage shaking their heads. Apparently they had never encountered a mage so powerful with the arts of time manipulation.

Grathemel: (aside to Ba’alithnor) “Maybe you were right Ba’alithnor. As much as I hate this puny man, I think he can help us… at least for now.”

Ba’alithnor: (aside to Grathemel) “We can kill him whenever we want. Might as well see if he’s of any use before we just slaughter him.”

Grathemel smiles at his brother. RSF wasn’t able to hear what they were saying, but he could see them talking upsetting him greatly. The devious smile was the last draw.

RSF: “Okay. What do you have to say that you don’t want me to hear?”

Ba’alithnor: “We were just talking about how impressed we were with that spell.”

RSF: “Oh!”

The mages tone of voice lightens.

RSF: “Well next time if you have anything nice to say about me, make sure that I hear it as well. Ehhhhhhh! I got this itch!”

The time mage scratches the back of his neck, however the itch does not go away. The skin merely goes numb from his profuse itching. The mage was developing had an unusual black mole on the back of his neck. It would out to grow and spread quite rapidly over the next few days, however, for now, the mage assumed it to be irritated skin from wearing the pendant, since its string was rather rough and quite scratchy.
