Isildur walked up to the barman to order his drink. he would probably get a room as well, he was in no condition to make the journey home just yet.
Isildur: Just your finest ale barman.
Barman: Why... Dragon Slayer, is that you???
Isildur: Huh? No i am his nephew, Isildur. What do you know of my uncle?
Barman: He used to be a regular around here, but he left one day saying something about meeting the Lord of the Order fort. Has not been seen since.
Isildur: Who was at the fort?
Barman: RSF, Dingo and the King of Spam, but they too have not been seen in a while. After Dragon Slayer left for the fort we heard news about a war against the forces of chaos, I'm guessing Dragon Slayer fought in that war.
Isildur: You were friends with Dragon Slayer?
Barman: Yes lad, such a lively fellow he was!
Isildur: Than it would trouble you to know he is dead...
Barman: Oh, i am sorry, i knew nothing of that.
Isildur: Thats ok. Thank you good sir for your help. I will also take your best room for the night.
Barman: Of course young one. May you sleep well.
Things had been cleared up now. Dragon Slayer had been at the order fort but what happened while he was there is still a mystery. How he died was still a mystery. Things were rolling now and soon Isildur would find a lead, something that would lead him to answers. For now he would drink and rest, for tomorrow he is to seek consul, where from he does not know yet...

OOC: Hmph! I'm good enough at pickpocketing to not get caught! *gripe grump gripe*
BIC:
Vadskye: "Bismank... Hmmm. Never heard of it myself. Besides, it sounds like a nun. What would a stupid nun know about weapons?"
Dean: "Give it a chance, Vads. It can't hurt, can it?"
Vadskye: "You never know..."
They continued walking in the direction indicated by some of the villagers. Vadskye wondered on why they were so listless. Even more odd, they were obviously not interested in their purchases. Why buy anything if you're not going to appreciate it? Vadskye decided that he could make much better use of their money than they could, and so he "liberated" the money for the greater good. However, he made sure to only steal a small amount from each person, immensly reducing the chance the victims would even know they've been pickpocketed. Confident that he had escaped undetected, he continued on his way with his purse much heavier. He spotted an amateur pickpocket on his way to the mysterious. Vadskye realized that he needed to be taught a lesson on being more skillful. Granted, it didn't take much skill to steal from these people, but it was a matter of principle. Vadskye shifted the way he moved, trying to mark himself as an easy target. Obviously the youth was not a complete fool, and he unobtrusively made his way over to Vadskye. As soon as the amateur tried to slit his purse, however, Vadskye caught his arm and twisted it.
Pickpocketer: "Ow!"
Vadskye: "You couldn't steal from a sleeping baby with that technique. See, you have to do it like this..."
Pickpocketer: ???
Vadskye: "Look, don't play dumb. I know a pickpocket when I see one. Now, check your purse."
Pickpocketer: "Hey, where'd it go? You took it!"
Vadskye: "Shh! Yes, I did. Now watch that move again..."
Vadskye continued in this manner and soon the youth was much more adept. He unleashed a much more dangerous thief on the world when he arrived at Mother Bismank's house.
Vadskye: "So here we are... Doesn't look like much."

Woockardo: "Friend you say? Bah! I need no friend."
RSF: "Friend or not, you are the one who saved my life."
Woockardo: "More like kept you from dying in MY forest."
RSF: "Your intentions may have been not of the greatest, but to me the result is something to which I owe everything."
RSF turns to Dingo.
RSF: "This dwarf is one hell of a fighter. He and I both have common enemies, the Forsaken Ones, thus we travel together."
Dingo: "Oh I think I make a third one."
RSF: "So then it is settled. As the cliche goes, the enemy of our enemy is our ally."
RSF: "Oh I forgot. Dingo it's been so long. So much has happened, since you've been gone."
RSF puts out his hand to Dingo. Dingo reaches for it and stops short staring at his hand. He raises his head and looks RSF in the eyes. RSF holds his head up high.
RSF: "This is one of the many costs of my mistakes. I am becoming one of the undead and soon no one will recognize me. I am only glad that my life and sanity have returned."
Dingo takes his hand still shocked.
RSF: "But I'm afraid we don't have time to discuss that right now. The longer we sit here and talk, the farther the enemy gets from us."
Dingo lets go of RSF's hand and the remaining flesh falls from his hand onto the ground revealing a bone skeleton.
RSF: "Let's go. For some reason I have a feeling I know where they have gone. To the east."
A new strength fills the time mage and he sets out knowing not what he shall find, but only knowing where he must go. It seems the wisdom, the intuition of what must be done has finally come to him. All the great time mages have this aspect and RSF had spent years trying to find it. Only after the incredible ordeals, he seems to have gained that humbled wisdom that all truly great magic users bear, all the ones on the side of good at least.
Dingo: "Hold up. We need to travel with haste. I can conjure some beast for us to ride."
Dingo summons a few dark spamlings.
Woockardo: "How is a dwarf as big as me supposed to ride one of those puny things. It's not even big enough for someone scrawny like you. What do you think we are halflings?"
Dingo: "I'm not done yet."
He continues working his spell and the spamlings grow, their legs lengthen, their backs grow thick and eventually take a shape looking something like a giant, bald, black-skinned hyena. He conjures a pile of ooze and spreads it across the backs of the beasts. The ooze hardens into a rubbery like substance creating a perfect grip.
Dingo: "How's that? I made one extra-large for you Woockardo. These should be much faster than horses."
Woockardo doesn't answer, but instead mumbles something about magi. The trio mounts the beast and rides off into the distance.

Feraleena: "Will this trail ever end? It seems to simply be travelling aimlessly with no real direction in mind."
Illyria: "Look. More footprints joined up with them. Do you think this could be the magi and angel they were talking about?"
Feraleena: "With footprints that small? It looks like a child was walking with them? A halfling?"
Illyria: "Doesn't really matter does it?"
And so the three relatives remained silent. They had nothing to say despite having just recently being reunited. But the context under their return was abrupt and unsettling. The business at hand and the way in which Motherdark had gone about her little meeting left everyone unconfortable. She had always had a temper, but never had she belittled her children through and through as she had this time.
Saying only what they must, using mostly gestures to communicate, which were mostly to give each other the direction in which the trail was headed, they follow the trail and eventually exit the forest making as little eye contact with one another as possible. On the edge of the forest, entering into plains and pasture, sits a small cottage owned by a goat herder living in solitude. He looks up from his work and spots the trio. What first is complete and total horror at the abominations quickly turns to complete and total fixation on the beautiful, yet horrific temptress. Even at the mere sight of Illyria the man was hypnotized to her every whim. Illyria calls out to him.
Illyria: "Have you seen a strange part consisting of a rogue, a mage, and a magog passby recently?"
Man: "No."
Illyria: "I see, then what direction would be the closest town?"
The man simply points towards that goes right up to his house.
Illyria: "Thank you. You are of no more use, so you can just kill yourself."
The man wedges his pitchfork into the ground and falls onto it piercing his heart. Illyria's power over man once ensnared is stronger than any charm. Feraleena and Grathemel chuckle at her sister.
Grathemel: "Stupid mortals. Bah!"
The trio heads down the road to which the man pointed and they find their destination only about a mile down the road. They enter town to screams. The threesome looks at each other and smiles. These mortals will be especially amusing to slaughter.

A pigeon perches on a windowsill about a dozen stories up and looks in through the open window at a woman cooking on her electric stove. She spots the bird and runs over to shoo it away. The bird flaps away and she spots something walking in the distance. Cars pile up screeching to a halt as they stop for the massive obstruction. Tytan throws the cars aside like a gale wind blows away tumbleweeds.
People begin to panic and scream including the woman who was previously staring out the window in horror and is now racing down the stairs running for her life. The woman was one of the first to see the events happening and is able to beat the massive rush of people. She sprints screaming down the street, however the surrounding people think it to be something normal and merely strategically distance themselves giving her a cleared path.
Larac: "Sure enough there were warps in our already fragle time frame."
The woman runs straight into Larac. The two fall over. Larac gets to his feet first
Larac: "Are you okay miss?"
Woman: "No! There's a big giant beast killing everyone!"
Before anyone can further prompt her of this she runs off.
MightyMage: "Oh, God! I think the Forsaken Ones are coming."
Larac: "It's some nutcase. Don't you think there would be a giant rush of people if that happened?"
Just as he completes his sentence, the sound of a large explosion in the distance just barely finds its way to the ears of foursome.
Gorman: "Did you hear that?"
MightyMage: "It sounded like an explosion."
A rush of hysterical people rush down the streets headed directly for the three magi and angel.

As the menacing silhouette of a tainted mausoleum grew closer on the horizon, the shadow mage became less and less sure that allying with the Forsaken Ones was a wise thing to do. Such a concentrated evil could not be trusted, and the shadow mage was likely to have his humanity ripped away again, just as it had on that fateful day. At least to those who did not understand.
The day of the wedding had arrived, but it was not the union that was meant to be. RSF had stolen Sheila from his best friend so that he could have her for his own, all for the sake of "love". The shadow mage did not believe in love anymore, it was too unsteady an emotion. His had turned away from him in an instant, taking a large part of his heart with her. The shadow mage sank into the deepest depression, blaming himself for losing Sheila, and the only two the outcast could turn to were too caught up in each other to care, or even notice. He resented his friends, but he did not hate them because of what they felt for each other. Not yet, anyway.
When his friend had taken out the very ring the shadow mage would have proposed with and used it to win over the most precious thing in both their lives, a flame alighted in the shadow mage's heart and his depression quickly transformed into anger. He now had a purpose again. RSF would pay for what he had done.
Shadowcaster began to plan his revenge, and in seeking out the one thing RSF would fret most about losing, the shadow mage's mind fell upon Sheila, the prize, as she had now become. If he took her away from the time mage, RSF would feel the same torment and anguish that he had felt the instant he realized what a backstabber his friend was. Shadowcaster could be a backstabber, too. It was the perfect revenge, but the question was, could he exact it?
Even though Shadowcaster vengefully hated his one-time friend, he could hold no malice against Sheila. She had been framed, and was still unaware of the shadow mage's undying faithfulness to her. If he was to take her away from RSF, his humanity would have to wither away. He would have to extinguish all order in his life and stoop into chaos to pull Sheila with him into oblivion.
Slowly but surely, the shadow mage convinced himself that this was the best thing for him and the worst for everyone else, just as they deserved. Every day he spent alone, he lost another touch of compassion and reason, and the fact that everyone turned a blind eye to his misery only served to draw him deeper into the darkness, where he was now sure he belonged. This world of light had shunned him for too long, and now he would prove their fears about him true. The shadow mage was ready to rip all that his friend held dear from the earth and then stoop so far into the darkness that no one would dare venture in after him.
The day was now here, and all the celebrations of the long-awaited union made the shadow mage sick to the stomach. There would be no celebration when his work was finished. He stayed in the shadows as the guests arrived, hundreds of them, to see the wedding of the season--the wedding that should have been his.
Soon, the ceremony began, and Shadowcaster took his place as the best man, a position accepted out of strategy, not out of comradery. A painfully long time passed before the moment arrived. The crowd stood as the bridal march began to play, and Shadowcaster tensed as Sheila appeared at the end of the aisle, looking as lovely as a painting. He almost wavered, remembering the love he had shared with her, but those months had not gone to waste, and his compassion for his two friends quickly faded. The time had come.
As Sheila reached the halfway point of the rather long aisle, Shadowcaster leaned to RSF and whispered one phrase that would haunt the time mage for years to come.
"Time to take back what is mine."
The groom turned, and frantically reached to grab his friend, but the shadow mage was too quick. The room grew dark for an instant and the shadow mage vanished. When the light returned, RSF turned to the crowd and screamed, "Find the shadow mage!" but it was too late. At the moment his eyes met with his bride's, the life left her body and the time mage watched in horror as his bride fell to the ground, dead. As she fell, the shadow mage stood behind her with a smirk of supreme satisfaction. His humanity was gone.
It had been so easy at that moment to ignore his conscience, but great anguish had filled him then, anguish that had so flooded his soul that his revenge was all he could think about. Now he had no such anguish, no such revenge to fuel his rage, yet now he was to join the purest of evils in spreading malice throughout a land that had done him no wrong. Revenge was justifiable to Shadowcaster, but unbound hatred with no cause did not appeal to him. He would need a cause.
"...Mother?"
"Yes, Shadowcaster?"
"Why do we need to destroy and kill people that have done us no wrong? Doesn't conscience drive you to draw back from it?"
"No, but it did at one time."
She paused.
"Do not feel they have done nothing to you, to all of us. Tell me, son, have you ever truly felt like you belonged?"
"Once...in the Chaos fort I was accepted and revered as a formidable soldier. My best friends helped me cope while I waited to kill the one who had eluded my revenge so long ago."
"And what happened to those friends of yours?"
"Many of them were killed by those who seek to protect the order in this world."
"Then don't you feel it necessary to stop those who shun you, who seek even to kill you and those you care about the most?"
She was right, such reckless hate was justifiable, as those heroes that sought to destroy chaos were destroying him and all he held dear. He could not join them, so he would fight against them until each and every one of those orderlings had paid for their righteousness. A wave of resolve washed over the shadow mage's face, and as Alivia saw her son's new determination in action, she smiled. Now she had the son she had always wanted.
The pair arrived at the mausoleum, but it had long since been deserted. The wind blew eerily through the lofty pillars of the structure, adding to the atmosphere of the evil grave. Alivia muttered a curse under her breath, then stepped outside and listened. The Motherdark was calling her, and as the faint voice grew louder, Alivia heard the commands she was issuing.
"Arrogant woman...she'll get her dues in time. But I must first prepare my son," she thought to herself.
The two headed for the source of the voice.

Motherdark: "Alivia. I see you have done well recruiting another strong ally. If there's one good thing about humans, or former in your case, is that they are proactive. My lazy children have to be told what to do or they sit by idly. This must be your ancestor. Show me what you can do or are you just another pathetic useless human?"
The shadow mage remains silent and flashes a glare Motherdark.
Motherdark: "You damn mortals are always so defiant. Let me show you something useful."
The Goddess of Darkness closes her eyes and speaks but one word. Nothing happens. But soon the ground begins to rumble and steam comes up through grass. A hundred yards in front of them the ground begins to swell creating a bulge in the grass. Pressure builds and builds finally giving way to a geyser erupting into the air dozens of feet.
Motherdark: "Now tell me can you do something like that?"
The shadow mage remains silent again.
Motherdark: "I guess not. What about this?"
Motherdark shapeshifts into her newly acquired dragon form.
Motherdark: "If you cannot do such things as this, then what sort of things can you do? What could make you so useful? Your mother Alivia was useless just like you at one time. But after I changed her, converted her to the life of immortality she was useful. Perhaps I should simply convert you now, so that you will at least be useful enough to not get yourself killed."

*dashing out into the street I watch as waves of horrified people run past me screaming. At the end of the street stands 3 unfamiliar faces taunting the humans as they flee*
Tytan: Run puny mortals! Run for the lives that you'll be losing when it all comes to an end! Run before I crush you!
Gorman: I believe you had best stop your crushing before you hurt yourself.
*the giant looks at me stupidly as I draw my sword. Imbued with the wrath of my god to slay monster's such as this. As the giant watches me it gives a bellowing laugh*
Tytan: Look here fellows! The little birdy wants to play!
*laughing loudly the brute picks up a small tree and handles it like a club. I hear my 3 comrades come bustling out of the building from behind me. Taking a brief look at them I say only enough words so they get the message*
Gorman: Run you fools! I'll hold them off!
*MM just gives me this look that shows me how crazy he believes I am but nods and takes the other 2 before running off. The brute looks back at it's siblings and shouts at them to keep to themselves. It wants me all to itself. Laughing hysterically it attempts to drive me straight into the ground on his first swing. I swiftly dodge the blow and he attempts to follow by swinging the tree around. I raise my sword and block the blow, halting his powerful swing. He grunts in surprise and narrows it's eyebrows in the concentration of crushing me. As he repeatedly swings I find personal enjoyment of dodging his attacks. His two siblings seem almost peeved that their brother wouldn't allow them to help him, as I'm proving, he needs. As I gradually float out of his reach the poor beast becomes quite peeved and throws the tree high up into the air. I can't help but laugh as it comes crashing back down onto his thick head. After seeing this amusing spectacle I take off in the direction MM had run*

It didn't look like much, it was basically a mud hut at the edge of a boggy field. A goat was tethered to a post in a roughly fenced off paddock. As we approched the house it fixed us with a baleful glare and chewed it's cud.
'She'll see you inside', it said.
'Did that goat just talk?!' Vadskye blurted out.
'I think it did' I said, 'and it seems we're expected'.
Vadskye nodded and we opened the door to the hut and went inside.
The air inside was dark and smoky, and the unmistakable odor of a dung fire pervaded the atmosphere. Vadskye held his hand over his nose, but I just looked into the gloom to see if our 'host' was there.
'Sit down' came a reedy voice from the other room. 'I have the tea almost ready'.
Motioning Vadskye to one of the chairs at a rickety old table, I took the second chair. A small figure appeared at the doorway holding a tray. It glided towards us and set the tray down on the table.
Vadskye let out a gasp at the same time I did. The old womans eyes were totally white, she was obviously blind.
And obviously not human either, her ears were long and pointy, pointier than any elf's ears that I'd seen.
And what I had taken for a hump on her back were actually two tiny wrinkled...wings!
Mother Bismank was a sprite!
'Yes dearies, I'm a sprite', she chuckled to herself. 'Though I'd say I'm older than any sprite that's ever lived. Three hundred years I've been on this earth, when none of my race lives past sixty years old. I got tired of seeing people around me dying, and so I took a journey.
I saw many things, and learned even more. I've been to the southern seas, where the pirate clans war for booty and sport. I've been far to the west, where a Rogue Mage rules and Dark Clerics abound. I've been far to the east where the elves hold sway, keeping back an undead menace.
And I've been to the north, where the wizards sit on their councils and think they know everything. But they don't know half as much as Mother Bismank hehe'.
I glanced at Vadskye, who looked at me and made a circle motion at his head with one of his fingers. He thought the old woman was loopy.
'Stop that!' she snapped at him, and he quickly brought his hand to his lap, looking embarassed.
'These old eyes of mine might be useless, but that don't mean I can't see hehe. I told you I been all over, and learned many things. I learned a few things from your wizards too', she said looking at me.
'My wizards?' I asked. 'What makes you think I'm a-'
'Don't play the fool with me boy. We're none of us fools here. I know as well as you what's abound in the world today. I sit here in my hut and the world passes me by, but I know. Oh yes I knows.
I knows that somewhere there's an angel making a brave stand to help those he once betrayed. I know that there's two of your friends in that village close by.
And I knows that there's three Forsaken Ones heading your way...'
Vadskye leaped up. 'Heading our way! We have to go! We have to-'
'Sit down and drink your tea boy!' the old sprite barked. Her wizened old face fixed in a frown.
'Do you think I'd have you here tongue-flapping if they were that close. I told you.
Mother Bismank knows.
I knows you have crytals of power. An i knows they're not enough. Not by themselves. There's some fancy weapons hidden somewheres in the world to go with them powerful little sparklies'.
'That's what we're looking for! We need to find the -ouch!!'
A little spark went off by Vadskye's ear.
'Boy if you don't stop interrupting me I may actually get angry. Now listen. I'm not going to say it again. Mother Bismank knows.
I know that there's a staff, I can see lightning about that staff, and a hole, where a sparkly little gem could fit into. I can see it to the southwest. In a big old sppoky forest.
Not another spooky forest I thought.
But there's a trap around it.
You won't find it first.
And there'll be a fight, but I don't see the outcome.
I see the demon and the lady wizard. And the thief with no manners. But I don't see you Mr. Wizard.
I sees a big blackness and a dragon.
And that's all I can tell you'.
'Now go. You have to collect your friends. Before the Forsaken Ones do...'
'But wait!' I said. 'I have questions! I need to know, what do you mean by blackness. And a dragon! do you mean Vintaglia? Mother Bismank!?'
But she wasn't listening. She was talking to herslef.
'Three hundred years of waiting, and watching. And it's done. Finally I can get some rest'.
Then she slumped back in her seat and closed her eyes. She let out a big sigh.....and that was it.
'Is she...dead?' asked Vadskye.
'She did what she had to do' I told him. 'And so do we, let's get back to the village and get the others..........'

Feraleena, Grathemel, and Illyria swept through the town killing everyone in their path. They set the town afire and let their summoned demons and werewolves make work of the rest of them. After a mere handful of minutes, the town already completely devastated, a demon reports back to his master, Grathemel.
Demon: "We have killed all but one. The one which remains is said to be a wise one. I thought she could be useful to give information."
Grathemel: "Good work. Bring us to this wise one."
The demon takes them down the village common, houses burning all around. But one house remains intact surrounded by demons and other various creatures that answer only to the Forsaken Beastmaster.
They walk inside to find an old withered sprite.
Grathemel: "Is this some kind of joke?"
Demon: "No we killed several people that had come back to save her. I heard them speak of her wisdom with my own ears."
Illyria: "I think we should see what she knows. Maybe a little torture would do the trick."
Illyria walks up to the sprite and pulls out her dagger. She raises her weapon over her head and the defenseless sprite remains motionless.
Illyria: "This sprite looks to be already dead."
Mother Bismank opens her eyes and looks directly into those of Illyria.
Mother Bismank: "Perhaps not."
Mother Bismank vanishes without a trace and the Forsaken Ones spend the next hour searching for the illusive sprite, but to no avail.

The fog was ubiquitous. It was so thick that everyone once in a while Dingo would say something just to check if they were still together. The constant splashing of the swampy ground was interrupted by a large thump. It was to Dingo’s right, where Woockardo usually was.
Woockardo: Damn sorcery. I can’t keep myself balanced on these things.
Dingo: It’s not that hard, you just hold on. You can hold on, can’t you? First you need to establish something called a grip.
Woockardo: Shut up! There’s nothing to hold on to, on these disgusting beasts.
Dingo snaps his fingers and the mighty spamling throws Woockardo off. Before any real damage is done RSF appears to set order.
RSF: Stop it, time is running out. Soon it will be night, and we must get out of here by then.
Dingo: How can you tell if it’s going to be night? It’s impossible to see anything in this fog.
RSF: I am a Time Mage, and I know that soon it will be dark. Now let’s go.
Woockardo was hesitating, but he eventually got back on the Spamling. Woockardo kept mumbling about magic, sorcery, beasts and whatever else seemed to irritate him. The trio continued traveling though the cursed forest, constantly hearing steps and splashes caused by the spamlings, and occasionally hearing Woockardo’s innocuous mumbling.
Eventually the ground became drier and the fog lifted. They had finally made it out of the cursed forest. It was night, but the full moon lighted up the landscape. A village that was burned to the ground greeted them.
Dingo: A great battle must have occurred here.
The ground was stained with blood.
RSF: More like a massacre...
They walked around the town, searching for clues to what could have happened. Woockardo stopped.
Woockardo: Do ye hear that?
They all stopped, listened, and then began to follow the sounds. Soon they saw a fire, surrounded by some strange creatures. Hiding behind a demolished stable, the three watched the creatures.
Woockardo: Prepare for a battle.
RSF: A very tough battle, those are demons. Servants of Grathemel.
Their were 3 or 4 demons sitting next to the fire.
Woockardo: We can easily kill them.
As those words slipped off Woockardo’s tongue, 3 more demons approached the fire. They were carrying a human.
Demon: Dinner is here!
That human wasn’t going to be eaten; she had to be saved. The three quickly rode out to the fire. Woockardo lunged at a demon. Swinging around his axe like a mad man, he decapitated the demon. Dingo’s Large Dark Spamlings quickly made work of the demons. One demon, instead of fighting, executed the woman.
Demon: What happened here stays here
The demon then experienced a blow to the chest from a heavy axe. After the other demons where killed, the battle was over. Before anyone could relax, RSF said,
RSF: I wonder what the secret is, what happened here?
Before anyone could respond he said,
RSF: I must go to the Order Fort.

RSF: "We must give this woman proper burial on sacred ground. Not this already scourged land. There is a proper burial site at the Order Fort. Let us move with all haste. I feel my time powers coming back to me ever so slowly. I think I can quicken our pace."
Woockardo: "Is that the only reason we are going to the damn fort?"
RSF: "No. There are other places of burial, but The Order Fort is the best, since I need to go there anyway. Help me get this woman onto my Dark Rider."
Dingo: "Hey that's a great name for these things."
Dingo let out a big grin. RSF simply looked at Dingo with the coldest sternest face he had ever given him. Dingo immediate took away his frown, he knew immediately as to why RSF was upset. For RSF it was a time of mourning for this woman as well as the rest of the innocent people who had not the chance to be buried. Without waiting for help, RSF picks up the bloody woman and places her body atop the Dark Rider. He mounts the Dark Rider and wedges the womans body against himself and the Dark Rider.
RSF: "I will cast a small haste spell upon us. It will be weak, since I have not regained my full strength. Is this okay with you Woockardo?"
Woockardo: "I don't like how this is working out at all. I don't take orders from no one. I'm not going to be dragged off for your every whim."
RSF: "Are you willing to go to the Order Fort? I will go alone if I must."

RSF looked back at the undead dwarf quite surprised to see him stomp off. Not the fact that he didn't want to go to the fort, but that he let RSF go off on his own.
RSF: "That fool doesn't know what he's up against. Let's go my fr-"
RSF hesitated saying this, because a thought popped into his head. A quite complicated one nonetheless, but still it was enough to make him stop to think about calling Dingo his friend.
RSF: "My friend."
RSF did consider Dingo to be his closest friend right now. During his times of righteousness, and during his times of insanity, the two always seemed to get along. But now after turning back to the side of good, it seemed more than coincidence that the two were still on good terms without conflict of interest. When they were part of the Order Party it seemed that they were allied as if by necessity, simply a case of common interests. After the peace treaty was made and RSF went mad. Dingo and RSF both wanted to gain power. And now they both wanted to kill the Forsaken Ones, but this time it seemed that the reasons were different. RSF wanted to rid the world of evil and his mistake of releasing it. Dingo wanted to get revenge. It seemed that Dingo had always been had a great desire for power and still does. But now that his friend has this great power, RSF does not know what his intentions will be in using that power. Whether or not his friend had good motives, he was still his friend nonetheless. RSF would have to make sure that Dingo knew the price that is paid when one becomes power hungry. He knew that Dingo must understand before it was too late, before Dingo made the same mistake that RSF had made.
However this wisdom would have to be taught to more than just Dingo, but also to another, another who was his lifelong friend, his enemy in battle, and now is of a status that is completely unknown. However RSF was still deeply connected to his old friend. He knew that he would be joining the other side and he knew that he would be doing so with great regret. RSF would simply have to show his friend the true cause of that regret and open up the repressed heart that was still calling out to him even in his state of darkness.
The time mage and the God of Dark Spam mounted their Dark Riders and headed off for the Order Fort. RSF hoped that his Tome would still be there. He had put it in a well-hidden place, but after months of it being abandoned, it very well could have been already looted.
RSF had more strength than he expected. His spell was still weak, but they made excellent time with his haste spell as well the incredible speed of the Dark Riders. They reached the Waterfall by high Moon.
RSF: "We should rest here. It is getting late and I am quite drained from keeping up that haste spell."

*Mighty Mage looked in bewilderment. Never before had he seen such horror. It was as if his dream was coming true before his eyes. Gorman hurridly ran toward the other three chuckiling at the stubling Tytan. Tytan, although slow witted would not take this angel lightly. Eyes burning with anger, he rips up three trees, roots and all, bonds them together and begins swinging his new club like a madman. Many fly through the air as Tytan charges with his new toy. His siblings can only smirk at the destruction he is causing.*
Mighty Mage: Well I'd say you pissed him off.
*Gorman, feeling proud of himself simply looks to his right at the buldge in his arm*
Gorman: Yeah, I am good arn't I?
Kaylianna: Not for long.
*WOOSH! Flying through the air is Tytan's club. It conects with Larac sending him right into the building behind him.*
Gorman: OH SH*T!
Kaylianna: Oh...Oh...no.
Tytan: HA HA HA! PUNY MORTALS CRY OVER DEAD FRIEND!
*The three run to the out skirts of town as fast as their feet, or in gorman's case, wings can carry them.*
Mighty Mage: Not now! Not yet! Why are they here? This is NOT good. We have to go through this town to get to the crystal.
Gorman: I don't think thats gonna happen Mighty. You two have an official death wish with those three. You saw what happened to that Larac guy and that was on accident. Now think of what would happen if you just pranced in there now. Tytan is looking for us and he wants to kill us. Consider your crystal lost.
Kaylianna: Not yet. There is still a way. It will take longer and may be filled with danger but it's either that or face those creatures. Unfourtanatly Gorman, the crystal is needed to stop the monsters.
Gorman: We have my sword though. Is't that enough to make up for your rock?
Mighty Mage: Although a valuble weapon and able to damage the Forsaken Ones, It cannot kill them. That is why the crystals were made in the first place. They must be both physically and spiritually seperated. Each crystal takes out a different part of the beasts. That is why we must have all four.
Gorman: Fine. Where is this 'other way'.
Kaylianna: According to my map it is just west of here through the forest.
Gorman: No, wait. You're not telling me somthing. Whenever your eyes dart off to the side you're holding back somthing. Which forest mage girl?
Kaylianna: The Shromerish Forest.
Gorman: Ohhhh, thank the gods. Finally nothing bad.
Mighty Mage: Uh Gorman, I take it you don't know the tales of that particular forest.
Gorman: No, why?
Mighty Mage: Oh nothing really. Well, we should get going then.
Gorman: MM, why? Why did you ask that? MM? ANSWER ME! MM!

We hustled ourselves out of that village pretty quickly. Dervol and Deimos were 'negotiating' breakfast with the innkeeper. It seemed the feeling of despair amongst the townsfolk had heightened overnight. Now I knew why though, the Forsaken Ones were starting to pollute the very atmosphere with their evil, and the diluted low-grade filth was seeping it's way into those close to them.
It didn't matter anyway, these people would all be dead soon.
Dervol got sentimental though. Women always do.
'We can't stay and fight Dervol, haven't you been listening to me? There are THREE of them on their way, that old sprite didn't say who, but three means we need to leave'.
'So you're going to leave these people to die?' she asked quietly, her eyes piercing mine like awls. 'Is there nothing we can do?'
I held her gaze and spoke quietly, but firmly.
'What would you have me do. Tell them to leave, we could do that, but do you think they'd listen? LOOK at them, they're barely more than zombies!'
'You've gotten harder Dean, the boy I remember wouldn't have tossed so many lives away without doing something. I thought being a Summoner meant you cared for living things, protect them.
I sighed, she was right, and being stubborn. But I was right too. Harder? I was as hard as I needed to be. I was trying to protect more than one village.
'Dervol, we fought the Unholy One to a standstill with three of the crystals and he still got away. We don't have a hope in hell to face three Forsaken Ones. If one of them is Grathamel then Deimos is no use at all, we may be forced to kill him. And if one of them is Illyria we could end up under her spell and you'd be her prisoner again'.
I knew I'd gotten through to her, her eyes widened and she represses a deep shudder. She still woke up screaming some nights, plagued by nightmares of still being Illyria's prisoner.
'I...I don't have to like it. But I agree' she said.
'Where are we going to'.
Vadskye and Deimos came to join us. There was no point payiong the innkeeper for the rooms, he wouldn't be alive to spend the money.
The old woman told me we would find the Staff of the Clouds in a forest to the south west. We'll travel faster by air'.
'I know that forest', said Deimos. I've seen it on maps maps. It's called something like the Shroomish forest. Or the Shomrish forest. It's big, it covered a lot of the map'.
Dervol and I stiffened, Vadskye looked at us questioningly.
'Deimos,do you mean the Shromerish forest?' asked Dervol in a tight voice.
'Yes that it' said Deimos brightly. 'Why have you heard of it?'
Exchanging a long look with Dervol I said.
'Yes we've heard of it......'
Under my breath I muttered 'But now I wish I hadn't. Then I wouldn't know what to expect'.
I heard Dervol mutter something similar.
'So what's the deal with this forest then?' asked Vadskye. 'It can't be much worse than the last one eh?'
'I'll tell you on the way' I said.

RSF stood at the river bank widdling a long stick. He spent hours just to make the wood straight and then hours more creating spirals and patterns within the wood. Finally at the head of the staff he carved out a beautiful picture of the sun on one side and a picture of a moon on the other.
RSF walked up to the edge of the waterfall and looked down over the rocks he had once been. He remembered thinking back to his last meditation on this rock. He recalled thinking that he would always do the wrong thing in the end. He knew he could not undo his mistakes, just as he had thought before, but this time he had the wisdom to realize that he could set straight his mishaps as best to his abilities. And his abilities were great. He may very well be able to defeat the Forsaken Ones, but he knew that he could not undo his mistake. The consequences had already begun, however he could prevent further distruction and that he was determined to do.
RSF: "I am ready to leave. We will leave when you are ready."
Dingo: "But you didn't even sleep."
RSF: "I did not need sleep. I needed time to rest regain the magical energies I expended. This staff will help me for the rest of the way. I have charged it with my haste spell."

*As we entered this forest I got the immediate sense that something wasn't right. It felt as though thousands of eyes were suddenly watching our every movement. It felt as though I couldn't tell if the dark, thick undergrowth was moving from an unfelt breeze or by some monstrosity waiting to strike and devour the three of us. My ears picked up a whistling noise and I threw myself backwards and knocked the two mages over as a spear hit the tree I was standing next to and quivered there for a minute*
MM: I can see we made our presence well known already
Kaylianna: It always has been rather troublesome trying to navigate this jungle. Are you sure you know where you're going Mighty?
Gorman: I sometimes ask myself if he knows when danger's about to hit him in the face. I am hoping that you might trust me slightly more after saving your life. Afterall, if I had wanted to kill you I've had ample opportunities. Oh...and the next time I say run....please do so. Don't stand there open mouthed as your friend gets splattered like an insect.
MM: We weren't expecting the Forsaken One's to be here so quickly. We were caught unprepared. I apologize.
Gorman: No apology needed. I just may not be there to protect you next time. If I had to I could have slain that behemoth. My sword may look ordinary but appearances can be decieving.
MM: Yes indeed, I found out how decieving appearances were while I had known you.
*I was about to remark to this but had to stop and realize how truthful he was. I had been rather decieving in the past, but now I plan on making up for it. I still plan on getting rid of that troublesome nuisance of a god but that will have to wait. I didn't know what else to expect in this harsh environment but kept on my toes in case of any more unwanted propelled objects.*

Tytan: "They escape!"
Ba'alithnor: "I bet I could have killed all of them. Motherdark will be upset at you."
Tytan: "You can't pound them to goo. You too weak. I pound one to goo real good. See I pound them to goo. Arrrrrrrgh!"
Tytan picks up a tracker-trailer and heaves it into the fleeing crowd of people. Dozens of people are flattened into mere stains on the road.
Ba'alithnor: "No. No. The best way is like this."
The earth begins to shake until the every building collapses. The two of them are buried in rubble. Dust fills the air. It will be several minutes before the air begins to clear. Tytan digs Ba'alithnor and himself out of the rubble. Several minutes later they are atop of the piles of what was once a great city of skyscrapers.
Ba'alithnor: "I love that eerie silence after I pillage a town, because I'm the one that made it eerie."
Ba'alithnor is much like the way RSF was when he was an insane villain. He looks out for no one, but himself and always looks to find the best way to manipulate the situation into his favor. Ba'alithnor was already plotting to turn the others against Motherdark.
Ba'alithnor: "The sun sets, we will go to the Forest north of here to meet up with Vlandria. Next time we attack at night so there are there of us.
