Army of 7 alignments
Just for fun, what would your ideal army with 8 alignments consist of?
(note: 8 alignments, including hero alignment)
(must include units of each level)
Hero - Aislinn
Lv1: Centaur Captains
Lv2: Wolf Raiders
Lv3: Cerberi
Lv4: Crusaders
Lv5: Mighty Gorgons
Lv6: Naga Queens
Lv7: Black Dragons

My army of 7 alignments
Morale is the key when mixing armies
1.Dreadknights(no penalty)
2.Magma elementals(no penalty)
3.Minotaur kings(no penalty)
4.Wolf raiders(no penalty)
5.Iron Golems(no penalty)
6.Diamond Golems(no penalty)(neutral is another alignment)
7.Mighty Gorgons(only penalty in the group)
That makes an army of:
two lv6 units
three lv5 units
one lv3 unit
one lv2 unit

Lev 1: Skellies (with necromancy)
Lev 2: Strom elementals
Lev 3: Dragon flies
Lev 4: Vampir lords
Lev 5: Mighty gorgons
Lev 6: Efreet sultans / Dread knights (hard choice!)
Lev 7: Archangels
Expert leadership and the pendant of courage will probably help me with any moral penalty

Level 1: Gnoll Maurauders
Level 2: Lizard Warriors
Level 3: Orc Captains
Level 4: Arch Magi
Level 5: Pit Lords
Level 6: Scorpicores
Level 7: Archangels (increase morale)
The idea is that I will sac the Gnoll Maurauders, Lizard Warriors and Lizard Warriors to make Demons using the Pit Lords. This will make my troops of only 4 alignments. Then my Archangels increase my morale by one. Now I only have a morale penalty of one.

Nope. The morale penalties from the beginning of the battle will stay till the end of that battle, so you'll keep all the penalties.
