Afterlife
What happens in the afterlife?
Do we get to eat there?
Do we get to sleep there?
How old would we be there?
How would the houses there look like?
Would we be able to fly and do other things impossible?
Would there be day and night too?
Do you believe in the afterlife?
Think about these questions...

Heres a few more, all interrelated.
Will there be a thing such as weather?
If so, will it be under our control?
If not, who controls it and will it feel comfprtable?
Will freezing colds not hurt us? (same with heat)
and will things we dont want to burn or freeze, freeze or burn?
If things burn do they stay burned forever?
If not is being burnt ok? or wrong?
Will fire still have the same human feeling of evil hell? If there is fire..
Will there be wind?
Will there be seperate weathers for each of us? Will people be together all as 1 comunity? Or dispersed througout one land? Or will (other long list of questions not dealing with weather)
Will the wind be part of our flying if we can fly?
Is everything more or less our controled imagination or will it be "realistic" in comparison to "realistic" on earth here in this place/which is possibly not even considered a place in some views.
All these awnsers and moree.

Afterlife I do not believe in. Reincarnation now, that's a different story.

what if your wish was to be in hell? some people are gluttons for pain...

Do I believe in afterlife? Hell?Heaven?
Yes, I do believe in Afterlife, like every Christian has to do. I believe in God too. I believe in hell, heaven. I believe in punishment, unholy fire, the Bible: New and Old Testaments.
What is my opinion about religions?
I believe that everybody all over the world (there are some people) believes in their God or smth they think they should believe.
Buddhists believe in Buddha (Buddha's not god, but a man that they believe in), who thought that when you die, you reborn. He believed that the way to the euphoria is gained through relaxation.
Mussulmans believe Allah. Dunno what are their truths, but they still believe in him, in Mahomet.
Hindu believe in Brahma. They believe he separated all the people into the castes. If you were good at this life, you would reborn in a better one and so on.
I think everybody believes in smth. In Afterlife, in God and other things. BTW, I believe in 10 truths of God.
Do you believe in them?

I believe in the continued existance of the soul following the body's death. It's obviously impossible to know the details. However, I don't buy the dichotomy of heaven & hell. It seems a more reasonable guess that the circumstances of a given soul's existance depends on the soul's own nature, beliefs, desires, and tendencies, as well as the nature of the entity in whose care it lands.
To the original post, all of those options are too much earth-clone for me. Night and day? Those are functions of the material world. Similarly, I don't care about finding out all the Answers, mostly because I don't believe there are Answers to some of life's biggest questions. Those who have died before have gone on to their own places -- maybe I'll see them, but more likely not. Some people may want to go to an "afterlife;" personally, I hope only for rest and peace in the presence of my patron god until the inevitable fade, for nothing is eternal.
So there you go. Deep thoughts, and now I'm late for phyed class...!

In the after life things will be diffrent....Things will not be misured by our pitiful measures...Every one will be crying ove themselfs.....Those who liked the pain in the normal life will be willing to do any thing just to avoide hell....Not to enter heaven...Just avoid hell.
regnus_khan:
Sorry but i'll have to correct 2 words here:
It's Muslims....& our prophet's name is Mohammed.
I didn't mean any thing but to correct a spelling mistake because i know that you don't speak Arabic.

Yes, he speaks one of the oldest language in the world...
More on Topic:
I beleave that there is reincarnation and so called "heaven" and "hell", just my heaven is something like sanctuary for soul, salvation, lightness... And the hell - The place where you live to satisfy your body needs.
Just a theory.

Here is my gist or is it jist? blah of heaven and hell which leads me to much confusion..
Heaven as i understand is a place where you go to be holy, enlightened and do NOT give into your desires.. sex, gluttony, greed etc.. so people in heaven have no drive? whats good about that?
Hell as i understand it is a place to redeem yourself for previous sins such as fornication, gluttony, greed etc.. however they place no such limits on your being for wanting them...
So your options are put up with eternal torture to remain human or throw away everything that makes you .. you and join the angels in they're hymms?
**note this i based on my interpertation of christian/mormon heaven and hell after reading both bible and book of mormom
oh on a side note to mormons here... why do babies have to go to a different place in eternity than the rest of us? I mean they have no sin so would that not make them fit for heaven?
I personally like the rendition of mormonism in a south park episode i saw was quite ... well true Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb
