What is happening with the world??
I was thinking on that question a time ago, and I think I need to ventilate my opinions. Where are we going??!? Whe get more and more people living on the earth, but more and more are suffering from hunger, war and stuff. Why do we fight?? look back in the past. The wars were because It was god land or something like that. Look at the reasons mow: Attacking a country because you SUSPECT it has Weapons of mass destrucion. And the people. What is happening to them? I was on a festival a time ago, and the first thing I saw was a man spewing at a lightpost. What has happened to mankind??? From being a loveful race that lived somewhat in harmony with nature, now we intrigue against each other, we fight, we don't adapt to nature, We adapt nature to us. If we keep doing that, what would be left for our children? A planet full of emptiness and death.

I can't say how many times I've thought about that. I've read way too many books with a message, and now I can't get it out of my head. Read the Martian Chronicles; I think is an entirely likely possibility. Ender's Shadow, and its sequel, Shadow Puppets, especially, also paint a terrible but entirely likely picture of humanity. The world is headed downhill, and there are too many culprits to name. Don't go saying "It's all Bush's fault!" or "Terrorism made all this happen!". This trend began many years before those things, but naturally enough, we put them aside until we had an effective scapegoat. Or maybe we were too stupid to realize it until now. Whatever it is, it's bad, and there's no cure-all.

Yes, the world is surely heading downhill. And I have also read many books that makes you wonder. A while ago, i read Rainbow six, and it's one prhase that has stuck in my mind :Mankind are parasite. We don't adapt ourselves, we adapt the surroundings. I really don't thing we can live so much longer. the only way is probably to find a planet in space where we can start a new world. A world with peace and adapting.

Space Exploration Is Only An Avenue
Somewhere out there beyond the stars lie more resources for the human race. However as I have said, space exploration is only an avenue. It is only a direction for the human race to take but it does not rid us of our problems. Some people think this. Some people think that all the answers are far off in another galaxy somewhere. This is not true. Earthly problems may be overlooked once you leave the planet but with us go our hearts and all the pain we carry within us. All the lonelines, sadness, hurt, grief, deceit, revenge, anger, hatred, and other such low sides of our existence cannot simply be ignored by exploring new frontiers.
While I agree that space exploration is a possible answer to exhausted resources I also think that we must look in the mirror and find the things we wish to change about ourselves. If we do not then we become slaves to our own inner pain. We no longer have free choice as all of our actions are governed by the dark side of our nature. We have yet to grow beyond many earthly problems and many inner conflicts. Until then I remain hopeful as I look to better myself daily. I must say, I have found that by helping others, it helps me to become a better person.

We always exploited nature,we lived in "harmony" with nature only until we found ways to exploit it faster , which then stoped being considered harmony.
And we were never more or less loveful tha we are now.
We haven`t changed much over the centuries.
I came to the rainbow six conclusion you mentioned long
time ago.Now I`m inclined to rea those RS books I never
found time for

I must first say that you are a good writer, you can express everything you want to express in an understandable way.
I don't really think finding a nwe planet to live on will solve all problems, but it we find a planet, then we can start from the beginning on that one. Hopefully that would prove to be a place were all would live in a somewhat peace. Fully peace is probably never possible, but to have as much peace as possible seems to me like somthing mankind should fight for.

We are parasites because we have turned away from god, our creator. What separates us from the rest of earths inhabitants was that we got a chance to either live in harmony and balance with the earth itself or to bring doom upon it. I hate mankind, though i am a human myself. If i could, i would forbid any trips to Mars. I don't want our species to destroy another planet.
Let's just face it... We are the scum of the world, the species of doom, the sons of the apocalypse. If not someone takes this stuff about peace seriously, were in big snowin trouble. I beleive in god, but not so seriously. I beleive that someone must have to once again worship our creator. We are not gods. But were trying to be by creating new species of creatures, by trying to revive already dead people by storing them in frozen chambers. We are trying to be gods... but we aren't. We are the outcasts of life. Death and destruction always influences our minds. And that is the truth, the real truth. Because i have seen it with my own eyes. Peoples hate, hunger for power, possession of money. We are just a bunch of criminals, and only the beleivers will enter the world of afterlife. People that don't beleive in our creator will probably have a first class trip to hell when dead. I am done now, and if anyone has a comment, speak.

Stormrage's right. We are the worlds most pathetic and pointless race in the universe. We are probably an error in gods programming. Hehe... what the hell. Even if we sucks, we have fun after all. I just hopes that only the good side of mankind is allowed to enter the golden lands of mars.

Right. You have right in much here, we ARE the scum of the world. Look at all the other creatures. We have also done another bad thing: We have taken other animals freedom just because we want to look at them. What kind of kindness is that?

For some reason i just love to hate my own race. I don't think it's so exiting to look at a caged animal, and if i were them, i would kill as many humans as possible.
Sometimes i wonder if i am really human. I don't seem like it sometimes.

I think that somewere up ther, god sits and looks at his biggest mistake ever: mankind. I don't know, but probably, we were a better race before we invented everything that now is a part of our regular day.

Universal Hope
There is hope for us all. It is true of the terrible things some people do. It is also true of the good things some people do.
Recycling the world's resources is my favorite idea for the future. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed therefore all the things we need are right here.
If it is a question as to the population of humans and their increasing depletion of the earth and all its resources then I say space exploration is a great direction to engage.
Humans have many attributes. Some are bad and some are good. The question is, which do you choose to outweigh for yourself? Shall you lament over the brooding or reflect in the deeds? Loathing or honor? It's a choice. We all have it. Take responsibility for your own life and let others take responsibility for theirs.

Recycling. the word has been in the air so may times so long, but not everyone have heard it and thought of it. And yoy are right. if everyone took resposibility for what they did, the world should probably be a much better place. May you live a long and healthy life.

We creates stuff to seem like gods. We create robots which is a artificial mirror of ourselves. Can't you see? We are trying to be god, and therefore we are outcasts!

Even if people are bad or not, they have turned away from god. There is no salvation for us now. If we start to worpship him again we might have a chance to reach afterlife, but we'll probably end up in hell.

We are trying to make robots, for what ues? For handling thing at a nuclear plant?? Why don't we then use some other source to get power? We are getting more and more sophisticated, and at the same time, more and more vulerable. What if somethin happened with all electricity?? What if we ran out of oil? What would we do then??
