Good post angelito...but some of the creatures are not "immun", they simply "resist" the spell. Immunity is only there if it still does not work while the orb of vulnerability is in the fight.

Hehe Xarfax..
When i read this info in the net, exactly this problem came in my mind (What will happen when orb of vulnerability is present?) but i decided to write nothing about that in this post for not make this post to complicated.
But i was interested in who will be the first to mention this situation.
First name which came in my mind was "Wub", second was you...
....damned...lost my bet....hehehe

As far as I understand it, Magic Arrow can be cast out of any school. So, my Expert Fire Mage can cast Expert Level Magic Arrow of any element he/she wishes.
If I'm facing Fire Elementals, I cast Magic Arrow from Water School (it still benefits from my Expert Fire Magic) and do extra damage to the fire elementals. Magic Arrow is a versitale spell.

Sorry Teron, thatīs wrong.
U canīt cast magic arrow on units, which have an immunity to a specific magic school. The spell wont "change" is magic type...

No new patches, I'm just speaking about the fact of Magic Arrow being castable from each school. In addition, if you are an Expert Fire Mage, you can cast Expert Magic Arrow from any school. Of course, this applies to whatever school your Hero is proficient with.

OK...to make it clear now..
You are NOT able to cast magic arrow on fire or energy-elementals. No matter which magic school u use!
Because Fire- and Energy-elementals are immun to ALL firespells (magic arrow belongs to ALL magic schools. If you cast it with expert earth, it STILL belongs to fire magic aswell! You are not able to split this arrow in 4 pieces and throw only that piece you want to....)
Air- and Strom-elementals are NOT immun to ALL airspells, but to meteorshower. So you are able to cast magic arrow on them!
Water- and Ice-elementals are NOT immun to ALL waterspells, but to icebolt and to frostring. So you are able to cast magic arrow on them!
Earth- and Magma-elementals are NOT immun to ALL earthspells, but to lightning and chainlightning. So you are able to cast magic arrow on them!
Firebirds and Phoenixes are immun to ALL firespells, so your are NOT able to cast magic arrow on them. Same reason as mentioned above on fire-elementals!
Hope this made some facts clearer. If someone still canīt believe what iīm talking about, use the editor and try it by yourself...
Thx for your patience....

Very confusing. What should this sentence mean?

Meteor Shower belongs to the school of Earth, just as Lightning Spells belong to the Air domain.
But so... If you cast Magic Arrow from any school, it will still be counted as a Fire Spell? Can you prove this point? (Play, take screenshots as you try to cast Magic Arrow with, say, Expert Water Mage and cast it from the Water Spell tab)
I'd do that for myself, but I loaned my H3 Complete Play Disc to my friend, so....

Really confusing?
There was a theory here, that elementals could be immun to all the spells of their magic school type (air-elementals --> airmagic...)
So i tried to show, to what spells they are REALLY immun (meteorshower) and, as a conclusion, that you ARE ABLE to cast magic arrow on them.
I am not able to place screenshots here, so i wonīt do that. But itīs really easy to test this out by yourself...
