If you want to see pictures than just go to the ToH website, then go to Player Photos. Theres afew in there, also look at Vesuvius' thread in ToH forum.

Well actually Mellisa had a link to her homepage from TOH back in season 2. And when this forum was first started she made a link to a funny little play-boy movie involving Mellisa and a midget.
So to answer all your questions: Yes Mellisa was a playmate, and yes Vesuvius did do alot of photography while he was studying to become a dentist. Amongst the people he photographed was.....tadaa Mellisa.
The only reason why I dont think either Mellisa or Vesuvius would take offence, is the fact that they have done nothing to hide this fact from the TOH public, and that is also the reason I have no qualms telling you this.
In fact I think it something both Melissa and Ves should be proud of, considering his photograph series was both very tastefull, and very ahemmmm....well you get my drift

What To Say......
I did a search and found out much of what is common knowledge about her. I couldn't believe it really...
After seeing those pics of Vesuvius's new house I had wondered how he could afford it with his lifestyle. After doing this search on his wife I now know where all the money comes from.
Personally, I am a married man and as selfish as this may sound, I don't share my wife with anyone. I simply couldn't allow the woman I am with to show herself to the entire world as a playboy playmate. If Vesuvius is able to do such a thing then he is able to do something that I could never understand. I'm not saying that I have any less respect for the man but this is not something I could do. All the experiences I share with my wife are of a most private matter and I consider it something that she and I share together in a trusting relationship.
I must be honest as to the "why" though. Honestly, I could not handle the thought of some other man lusting after my wife. To me she is beautiful and to me is where her beauty is respected. I would be utterly overcome with jealousy, self doubt, and loss of confidence in myself if I knew the world was lusting after the woman I chose to live the rest of my life with.
 To Vesuvius,
I don't know how you do it, nor do I wish to. I only hope that the two of you have as much trust and love as my wife and I share. I would think that every relationship has a strict set of lines one should not cross.
