getting a higher high score
hEY Guys What are Some things that contrubue to a high score besides the obious, Like diffucality. and we also wanted to know what is highest high score you can get Thanks for your help.

heheheh
they are lots of thing to contribute to the score:
first is the size of the map
number of computer
200% dificulty
to have the grail in the first castle(and of course all obelisck found)
to have statue of legion and other combined artifacts
heeheh
i reach 489 points on a medium map this way

i reach 489 points on a medium map this way
The last half is new to me. Thanks for the reply. Here is my situation: I scored 494 when I beat "Thats my mine", a small map, 200%, on month 1, week 4, day 4 by defeating all the heroes. You could also finish this map by flagging all the mines. If I grab the last two mines, on the same day as before, I finish with a score of 444. That makes me think that the score is heavly based on battles or final level of your hero. Also, why would I score so high on a small map??

the score is so high beacause u finish faster the map
the more u play the lower score u get...
so if u are lucky and play on a small map with 3 computer is a big chance that u can be eliminated from the game lets say in 2 weeks maximum
hehehe... even u are the best in heroes 3 i cannot figure out what u will doo without resources
anyway if u are lucky u can kill al computers in maximum a month that means a very high score... if u wanaa see for yourself try to finish a map in 2 months the the same map played two more months...
see what is happend

Combined artifact didnt affect final score ...
Things which affect final score are:
- Difficulty Level
- Month and week of which you finished map (Different for diff size of maps. You can reach high score on small map, and medium and etc...)
- Killing of all oponents (It's mean you must have finishing blow on all computer players)
- Having all towns on the map (If there is at least one neutral town your score will drop dramaticaly)
- You must dig up grail and have a grail building in one of your towns (Not necesary to be your first town. And if you can there is not necesary to found all obelisks.)
Highest score which i reach:
498 - "Good to Go" - Restoration of Erathia map
small 1H/1C player 2 castles only, grail (map is possible to be finished before end of first week with building of grail building)
497 - Random WOG map - XL many castles , 2 level , grail , but when starting with Ciele was easy to beat up just before month 4
496 - "Angelic pride" - HL map with many castles ,
p.s. There is one possibilty final score is depend of that how many time you are loaded... One time after finishing of one map i've loaded and beat it with two weeks faster. I have all castles, finished all opps, same hero level and etc... But get lowest score

Thanks to all that have replied. I never took the time to locate and dig up the grail. It always takes too long and then it is not too helpful at that point. However I will now for the points. Also, I had no idea that unflagged towns would have an impact (makes sence). I don't know if I ever leave any behind, but it is good to know.
By the way, has anyone score over 500?
