Game Making Programs
hola,
any1 here can recomend any game making programs or construction sets or scripts etc. things like darkBASIC, but this program i hav lots of problems with, it keeps crashiing.
my os is windows xp home.
any info would b appreciated.

As you have seen by the warning I gave to Arrow 2 posts up. There is Zero tolerence in this section for attacking another person in this section of HC. WoG is a free mod and anyone who has questions about it or ideas are free to post but there will be no attacks in this section.

I am going to try Game Maker, as I don't have SoD. I'll tell you more as I go along... I've done plenty of modding for Unreal and Age of Wonders. Hope I can do it, but if not, I'll see if I can do completely new graphics for WoG.

If you can create new graphics not just change existing ones or bring in ones from other games you might think about asking to join the team.

Well, I've never made graphics for HoMM before.... what format picture are they in? I can use 3d programs pretty well, I would just need descriptions and ideas for creatures.
Why don't you give me an assignment, and I will see whether or not I can do it?

does any1 have a link to Modhomm3 program, i would like to check this out and see what it can do, i believe it was a mod program by some of wog team b4 they where in the wog team.
i tried many sites and most point towards lycros/fr but dont seem to b able to find the program lol.

This was and is one of the most interesting sites for Heroes of Might and Magic, and I'm glad you managed to get it back online.
Unfortunately, I'm too stupid to use any of those programs (especially if the instructions are in broken English  ) but here's hoping your work will get the recognition it deserves.
If you ever find time to zip all those files so I can only click the "install" button, please let me now!!!

Perhaps you can gave him
I found a good information for wog
Random map generator generation use rmg.txt and crbanks.txt, Slava change them for wog using a different name. That's probably a reason why wog crashed when we used the random generator (this function certainely called the wrong txt)
Please just give this information to Slava
I'll like to finish the Samaritan campaign but I don't know if I can find times
By the way I have all bitmap for heroes specialisation, I can send you if you want

I will make sure Slava gets this information. I figure Fnord did already but I will make sure to be safe. Sure send them. Hope they aren't too big LOL. Stuck back on 56k dialup for the time being  Oh and as for the team and everyone yes we are all great but are wore out trying to find this slowdown bug we hit. Good news is Slava thinks he nailed it so we have a new test file coming

But I forgot to say that yes, all the bitmaps for heroes specialization would be GREAT. Arstahd and I started making some new ones but if you've already done all of them (for all other monsters, skills and spells that aren't included) that would save a TON of time!
