Mosquitoes are a damned nuisance here in my country, so I do everything to get rid of them, kill as many as possible. Damn them!!! Even houseflies aren't half as irritating.
Spiders are fine, I don't care about them. But if their web gets in my way. I'll destroy it, but not harm the spider. The spiders, after all, help catch mosquitoes and flies.
I don't really care much for ants, except for them fire ants. I destroyed a hill because they are in most places of the garden and ppl always got stung. But after exterminating 1 ant hill, in moved termites, which damaged an antique bookcase. Then the fire ants moved back. And I was grateful for that, because the fire ants got rid of the termites. So now I've learnt to appreciate the fire ants. Being stung by ants is much better than damage to your furniture.
If there are moths in my house, I chase them out without killing them. Moths are better insects than flies and mosquitoes.
Cockroaches are bad. I lay traps for them, and let them die. If i manage to catch 1 i feed it to my cat.
Grasshoppers and crickets are fine with me, but they chew holes in the plants, making them very ugly, so they are also no good, but still better than flies and cockroaches. If i catch any, I just toss it into the fish pond.
Ladybirds, mantises, dragonflies, butterflies, bees and wasps are all welcome insects. If I see any of those insects, I just let them be.

Ah, will be mosquitos^^ thx
regards
When I was yunger, I caught Garsshoppers, but only to sense that well a bit ugly feeling when they crawl in your closed Hands. Then I let them free again.
Today I just watch them, maybe trie to shoot a photo and wonder about that jumpingpower those animals got^^
Well Wasps I dislike, but I don't kill them. I got stung once in the back and it wasn't fine This might be stupid, but I am really scared of Wasps. Hornets ar not less scary, but they are less agressive. Last summer I had a insect-week every day there was at least one was, hornet or bee in my room. The Hornets (there were two of them in that week) were somewhat gigantic Nearly as big as my thumb! I left the room, scared, and later came back to happily see that it was gone^^ The others were puuled putside with a "College Block" or captured with the "Postcard-and-Cup-Method" and then reöeased otside. If we had an Ants-Nest in the Garden or a Wasp-Nest in the Wall or sth, we would have it .. deleted, to say it with Strong Bad - because my Mother is allergic against wasp-stings and I have a 6-year old brother who could be biten by the ants - besides that we could be stung or biten, too ^^
Well, today Bugs or Spiders are just interesting, maybe a bit ugly creatures for me, that have just the same right to live, as I have (well, maybe except Mosquitos ^^)
regards
EDIT
Well, to refer more to the topic of this thread, save Bugs, well that getting it out of the house can be seen as a saving^^ I can remember that I once saved a ... "HUmmel", those fat flying guys that are colored like bees^^ out of an spider's web. I think, it wasn't really necessary, because the next day I saw one of those flying right throu a web, those guys are strong^^ Well, but I just felt kinda good when I saved that little fellow^^
Other little animals that I save sometimes would be snails. After rain they are all over the street and pavement and wehn I come across one, I pick it up and put it aside not to let it be stomped or squeched by a car or bike. Well, but only those snails with a house on It's back cause I won't tuoch the others One of my friends kicked a "Winebergscnail" I don't know if they are called that in your countrie , those big ones with white or grey houses..^^ Er, what I wanted to say is, he kicked it across the street and I didn't like that - really. In this very moment I just felt sorry for that sanil because I like those small, slow buddys.. But, I'm talking way too muich today

I just hate mosquitoes! They are so irretating bugs. I would let them live just if they wouldnt have any poison to leave in my body after sucking out my blood. I had gerbiles ones and they just love bugs. They made a funny noise when eating flies, spiders, cockroaches. Especially cockroaches, they make almost the same sound when being eaten by sharp, yellow teeth as when eating crispbread. I dont kill any bugs that i see, only mosquitoes. But i did what my gerbiles liked and gave them what they wanted. But now there dead and i leave the bugs alone.
