Ha. Reading that comic about D&D and being so angry about those foul accusations made me remember how much I loved the game. I took out the old rulebooks and assembled a party with some friends. A good way to spend the summer
So I guess... thank you Chick?

i refuse the evil.. I have been grey for along time, leaning twoards the good, and sometimes slipping into evil.
The thing about ozzy refusing to play for satanists, dosnt mean that his music dosnt bring a mass load of kids into evil. ACDC same situation, KISS same situation (to a lessor degree if im not mistaken)
Judas preists "Breakin the law".. Can lead some people to wonder exactly which law he means to break.
It dosnt take an extremist to see the evil in a song.
What if earth was only here because very few people are left who will beable to go to heaven? Interesting.. that theres no rule saying about half of us will go to heaven.. There could be only 10 good people you know.
My guess is theres more than 10 though..

Quote: Indeed. Keep in mind, would a make believe story survive 2000 years? Would Jesus' apostles die for preaching something they knew was false? They were there through it all, and if anyone would know it would be them. Don't bother saying the Bible is false either, plenty of archaelogical evidence has shown it's real.
OMG!! Then the story about Jason and the golden fleece is also true!! omg I thought it was fake, with all those monsters and cyclops and stuff. But according to the quote above - it must be true. Especially since so many of the sailors died trying to find the golden fleece. Would they have done that if it wasnt real? :/ Just blows your mind..
Don´t bother saying its just a greek myth, cause plenty of archaelogical evidence has shown that greece is real

Hey pal, their is documented proof of Jesus's feats. He performed them in front of 1000 people. It was too long ago for it ALL to be optical illusions. And your point about Greece is ridiculous. Why is Greece existing a counter-point to his saying that the there is archaeological support of the Bible's accuracy?

Quote: Hey pal, their is documented proof of Jesus's feats. He performed them in front of 1000 people.
Nonsense. It was written 50-100 years after his supposed death that they had been witnessed by whatever number of people. The number of 1000 is especially foolish, since no historic historic text from the first century makes any mention of Jesus.
And by pure coincidence, every single one of those Jesus-miracles can be found in older religious texts! For that reason, even most of today´s theologists do not believe in their authencity.

Quite Rude
I think it's rude, impolite, and inconsiderate for members to jump into their spiel on religion at every possible turn especially since those threads are already in existence.
I suppose if I wanted to start a thread about tieing my shoes then someone would feel so compelled to let me know what Jesus thinks about that.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION I CAN TIE MY SHOES JUST FINE, THANKYOU VERY MUCH, WITHOUT HAVING THE NEED TO BE TOLD WHAT GOD OR ANYONE ELSE THINKS!
To all religious members who wish to rant:
Please look for the thread appropriate for such postings. If you don't know where they are then you can simply IM or post a message asking me to find them for you. I would be more than happy to help locate the thread for you. That goes for any and all religious associations.
~Thankyou in advance.....Consis

When it comes to the bible and jesus, there is no proof.
There is only Faith.
Please stop mocking reason and science by calling your faith proof, because its not.

Hmmm, well let's see. Ramses and his entire army that were chasing Moses admit that Moses parted the sea for the Jews to cross. Why would a non-Christian ruler admit to a Christian miracle?

That's no excuse for you or anyone to ignore 3 or 4 mentions and a specific request about it being not the desired topic. Oh well, it was a nice theory whilst it lasted, feel free to drag this into another religion/non-relgion debate.

An "apology accepted" would have been nice.
Anyway, to stay true to your precious topic, Chick is slightly overzealous but he isn't hurting anyone, so just ignore him.

So would staying on topic at the first request. However, in supporting the theories that D&D and Haloween is linked to Satanism despite knowing nothing about the game or it's players. Considering he also goes on to tear holes in both the Catholic and Islamic faith on quite absurd grounds (and without proof) and is set against working with either unless they convert, I find it hard to equate that with not hurting anyone
