Your worst Defeat!
I've started playing Heroes III Campaigns once again and I've stucked on one of those so I had to reply a battle 10 times.
Suddenly I remembered my first defeat from my brother. We both played necros. I was with Isra, and he was with Vidomina( both had 5% necromancy bonus). We played kind of 6 months. We also both had diplomacy so after 6 months of playing we both had like 7500 skeletons and the rest of the army something like 50 Ghost Dragons and about 140 DreadKnights.
So after 6 moths we decided to have our fight. So we mett. The battle started with us having like the same Attack, Defense, Power and Knowledge. I was first with my dragons so i cast the Slow Spell( at expert lvl). Then I started waiting. He did the same so I advanced with my skeletons a little thinking that he will never reach me. But in the next moment he casted the clone spell on his skeletons. I hadn't got no ideea for what he did that( I thought that clone is a useless spell). He forwarded with his drogons... and the next troop to move was the clone. Then i see the pointer over my skeletons and see his clone in the next second hiting my skeletons. 2500 fell. I was liked desperate. I continued my battle...but useless he defeated me with so much style.
From that battle on I used clone in almost half of my battles on the 7th lvl creature. I also started teaching my brother how to play better and better( till then he was playing choatic making in his head so many plans, that failed most of the time) so now I don't dare to play against him making more than 3 basic mistakes.
Looking forward to hear your most fiercefull battles, that you lost or... almost lost

I can't tell you much about my worst defeats, simply because I don't remember any. Now, funniest victories, that's a different story

Yeah...Yeah.. know this part... nobody knows when or how he was defeated...or he almost got defeated... it seems that you'll are such good players never got defeated... well okay if you say so...

Well mine had to do something wif wait wait wait wait wait *Aha, I have the fastest unit so I get to cast a spell last* wait wait wait and Blind on the archies. Bye bye.

It was when I played a particular Polish map... I played Rampart, I had pretty decent force (about 10 Gold Dragons, many supporting troops). In 2nd month a barbarian visited my island. He had 500 rocs and 2000 goblins. I lost, of course. Maybe now I could beat him, it was abuot a year ago, and I was a weak player. Now I'm better

My worst defeat must have been against Art_pendragon in the North vs South MAPmasters finals.
I was lucking out big time .. and i mean BIG.
Tazar as hero some great secondary heroes, Sword of Judgemnet and necklace Of Bliss in the water. Second native town.
Good skill do I decided to rush his ass .. break the guards run into him too soon with almost no spellpoints and I realize I had no expert skill yet in earth and/or air.
So after his mass slow and blind (orsomething similar) the game was rapidly played.
My sure win turned into one big defeat.
Nice side note was that he was just about to surender after I told him about my luck in the water and hero. LOL
There went my mapmasters first place 
I still can;t believe I lost that game!@

Well it seems that Hexa remembered his defeat very well..(sorry for your ruined game) So if you are not a such good HoMM player... I believe you had mary defeating experiences. Also you should see that self-criticism thread

My worst hmm was about 3 or more yrs ago one my first games before I was in toh vs Mr Hathaway.
I had the game won I out played him we had the same castle type. I had 2 times the attributes & some other interesting arties but I was a noob & caught him in like his third town sitting there, didnt even see me coming but missed him by one step.
Not to mention I had 3 times the army including lv 7's
What does he do,He hit & ran me about 4-5 times with Implosion & we basically didnt even have a final battle LOL.

Well what Mike tells em is he does whatever it takes to win but no matter I got even & beat him fair & square but only to hear him whine about it hehe.

well it wasn't really a defit yes i did lose a fight but it was with my little army my enemy used all of he's army and on the next day my big army would have come but my enemy called me noob and disconected that was a big deafit cause he thout he won well at least i know i won so who cares what he thinks besides i know him in real life he's a stupid toad he would have lost lol he didn't have nothing i was coming gona come for him with my big army which was 2 weeks comprised of every tower unit including giant all he had was 30 elven archers that remaind in the fight i lost so it's a sure win but it's stil anoying he won't belive me when i told him that he said sure and hung up the phone we are stil pals but i know i'm better he thinks he is but i know i am besides as i said he's stupid well that was my worst defeat anywho hope i spelled it right .

Ok ... my worst defeat ...
I was playing with Axsis (as always) on Islands & Caves (Homm3) ...
It was about month 3 and i was at war with most of the map ... ok
I ran to the best player on the map to kill him (am i a criminal ?) , he was playing with Astral ( Tower ) ....
My army was 15 archdevils, 102 sultans , 80 pit fiends , 133 cerberi , and 217 magogs ....
(i have the screenshot)
His army was 51 titans , 6 gold dragons , 38 nagas (upg) , 50 master genies , 129 golems (upg) , master goblins 315 and 31 mages (upg) ....
My whole army was slaughtered and i only killed 15 titans , all the dragons and the nagas , 49 genies , 50 golems , 126 master goblins and 25 mages ....
This was the worst defeat ever (i usually don't get defeated) ....

You wanna know about my worst defeat? Then I'm gonna tell you, because it happened minutes ago . I played a hotseat game against they guy named "I". A small map named Newcomers, 120%, me Stronghold (Crag Hack), him Tower (Solmyr). Each of us starting with two towns, I picked up an unguarded ogre club and visited blue tent near one town, to go through blue tower and pick up an unguarded sword of judgement with Crag Hack. I had two normal behemoths on Crag Hack and one ancient on the other hero. By careless play I lost the hero with the ancient. I took one town, while an AI opponent took the other. It was day 5, so I ran to get my third behhie for Crag, but on my way I was wiped out by some AI hero
I suck, don't I?

Hmmmmm...my worst...aaaah...yes! It happened while I was a rookie, on the 3rd map. I was nearly finishing the map with Christian...I ended my turn and...from an underground tunnel, Sepinroth-20 red drags-Throngs of other. And me...well...I didn't have half of her army. I abandoned the map. I'm replaying RoE and I'm on the last map of the pen-last campaign(Long Live the King, I think)

It would have to be that, when my 21 azure dragons, 63 titans and 71 red dragons lost to a hero with about 40 attack and defence skills and 30 ghost dragons, 60 dreadknights, 101 powerliches and 200 vampirelords. The hero also had annoying spells.

worst deafeat
played good to go with rampart first week siting and looking the barbarian and fortress hero clearing the map day 6 the close to my castle I hired alll arrmy go to atack win the battle with heavy lose . next turn I lost my town at day 7 to 200 goblin and some rocs no army left just one hero with some centaur .
