Final Fantasy Fan? Not a Chance!
Here is my list of final fantasy games i own and how many times i have completed them:
Final Fantasy 4 (2 times), Final Fantasy 5 (twice), Final Fantasy 6 (twice), Final Fantasy 7 (5 times), Final Fantasy 8 (three times), Final Fantasy 9 (three times), Final Fantasy X (at least 4 times and killed Penance without Yojimbo!), Final Fantasy X-2 (Lost count after 6), Final Fantasy XII (once just recently), Final Fantasy Tactics (no completion) and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (three times)
So i kinda like Final Fantasies

I have played a little bit of Final Fantasy 3, but it wasn't my type of game, too boring, I wanna get straight in the action.
Zelda: A link to the past is a better game, in my opinion.
I might try Final Fantasy 3 again, give it another chance.

You have to have patience playing role playing games.
You have to get into the story & feel the game so to speak.
Try Final Fantasy 12.
It has a zelda type action feel to it when you battle creatures 7 bosses. with the story in it. Fun game to play.

-- My favourite FF was obviously the 7th episode (FF7)... I just loved the story... but WHY DID AERITH HAVE TO DIE...  Vincent - with the coolest looking limit breaks IMO - and Tifa - with the funniest Limit Break - were so cool... (I know that they weren't the strongest characters still I loved those 2) 
-- The music was awesome the Materias were a very good idea and loved the Chocobo breeding as well.
-- The problem is that FF7 does NOT run on my PC any more (the PC version of FF7 that was made by EIDOS). Perhaps my hardware is "too good" for it. (P4 3Ghrz + 1 GigRAM).
-- I also tried FF8 on PC (and it still works) tho it does not impress me so much. Somehow the characters were not as cool as those in FF7 (Cid, RedXIII, Barrett or even Yufie and the rest were still better than the FF8 guys) The GuardianForce system was NOT my cup of coffee. I liked the "materia-based" summoning and casting system more than the "draw-from-the-monsters" system...
-- I've also played a bit of FF10 at my friend who had a PS 2 and tho I liked it I could not play for long cause my friend had to sell hi PS2 soon.

Definetively a fan of the FF saga!
I've played FF I through VIII, minus II and III, i have FF II but was to lazy to play it.
BTW, two questions: Did anyone was on the verge of tears when Sephiroth killed Aerith?
AND
Do anyone of you listens The Black Mages? Is a band that Nobuo Uematsu formed, if you're a FF fan you might enjoy it

I listen Black Mages I have all FF musics but Black Mages are the greatest
Damn man to mentioned it. I have borrowed the dvd somewhere and i would now like to listen some Still More Fighting.

The only i would like to listen from are more tracks that aren't the fighting ones, like "Nightmare Begins" (IIRC, the Nibelheim song) and the Main Title song from FF I, not sure how it would sound tho, but knowing them, i'm sure the result would be nothing less than great!
BTW, Hunter's Chance (FF IX) is simply my favorite, even though i didn't had the chance to play FF IX

Certainly, is one of my "before i die" goals in mi life, i only need some money for PS2 (or three if i have the chance!) and then try to find all those games, which is really the difficult part in my country

Wasn't bad, many people hate it, i myself find it an excellent game, it's just that my first Final Fantasy was the VII and i'm still in love with it!

I will, it's just that the PS3 is like 1500$ in my country, we really have a problem with the pricing here, anyone can just put the price he wants to whatever he wants, it's quite unfair

I have played XII, XIII and IX, completed and enjoyed them all. XII was imo best from series and probably best RPG game ever.

I even downloaded 9,45 GBs of FF music. I love it ;P
My favorites are FFX and FFVIII. I like FFVII too, but the story seemed over-clichéd and the materia system was cool until like second disc, when you had tons of useless materia with absolutely no strategical difference between them. Still a damn good game. When I get PSP I am going to put FF7, FF8 and FF9 on a 8GB memory stick and have fun (yeah the custom firmware allows multi-disc and multi-boot PSX games nowadays)
