H3 in a window?

I'm actually kind of new to all these games (a friend turned me on to them with the phrase "better than Age of Wonders"), but I have one question. Is there a way to run Heroes 3 in a window instead of fullscreen? It'd be nice to multitask a little... Thanks!

I can't remember, but I think F4 would put it in window form.

I don't think you can run H3 in a window, but you can have other Windows programs running in the background. Just alt-tab over to them. I do it a lot when waiting for a big download, or playing a music CD.

H3 will not run in the background. It will stop what it's doing if you switch to Windows. Like if you time it right, you can shoot a ranged shot and immediately alt-tab to Windows. When you come back, the arrow will still be in mid flight.

F4 must put it in window form. But befour you must have compatible screen resoliution and color quality. H3 is the old game and much screen resolutions (most TFT displays) aren't supports.

BAH! noobs

Yes, there is a way to have heroes3 in window form. press F4. remember you will need at least 1024*768 resolution, and 16bit colour depth.
