I went to go read Baldur's Gate Dairy because I noticed there being 4 pages instead of 2, since I hadn't read pages 3-4 and I realized something. Consis hasn't posted any new story pieces since May and this award is for the past summer. However, since that is one of five brand new categories, we could make those including the past year. Yes/No?

The Corner Chair
You all will notice a scholarly fellow in the secluded corner sitting at his table with his nose pointed at the parchments in front of him. The candles on his table are well worn down to half size while the leaking wax spreads past the base moving outward toward the stacks of ring-bound papers and scrolls. Because of this, the corner is well lit and the shadows behind the fellow dance with the flickering wicker flames. In his hand he is seen continually thumbing his feather quill pen rolling it slightly in and out of his grasp. He looks to be thinking as he sits, stares at the desk, and scratches his roughly unshaven chin. The drink at the edge of his table looks untouched.
I shall make this tavern the place to announce my next diary installment. When I do, I'll role-play it a little and describe the man announcing it to the rest of the Glade Tavern occupants.
I am so very glad this Tavern was built. The other one in that other forum simply didn't suit me well at all. Ah, at last a place where I can feel comfortably at home.

I like Woockardo. I think he is a very colorful character, however I don't think you have to write your posts that way everytime. There's no need to restrict yourself as to how you write. I think that style of posting works well under certain circumstances, but other times it would be just as good to have a third person narrative rather than a colloquial thought narrative.

I really like that idea. 
However I think that a combination of Woockardo's thought processes and a third person narratives could be used together. That's just me. It's just what I would do, because I think it could help people relate to Woockardo a bit more.

The door fly’s open whit a terrible crash a big grown trolls comes rushing in grabbing Consis untouched beer and the turns back and runs out as fast as he came in only to leave a terrible stench behind him. When you then look back at the open door you see the old woods not a sign of the creature and you finnaly only hear a trollish roar at the distant.

AMTwis...I never knew my character was supposed to be a villian in Dread Pirate. You have however given me a thought though so I'll be thanking you now
