it's just as good as it is bad
now i don't know why it is considered a cheap tactic to kill catapult when the attacker does get the advantage of keeping the defender stuck in his castle (blocking the door)... the way i see it ... can go both ways .
If you can't win, you can't, don't blame your lack of skill on an "institution"

Hi all.Just let me explain the situation. In our game with Splexx we played hero style.I admit that his hero was much better than mine and with much bigger army.Just 1thing - belive me or not - 1st time i heart that town sitting and catapult killing is "not honorable". Guys,u making "nontalking" rules - at least let the rest know them."Cheap tactics? Dirty tricks?" Well - every game which i played when my opponent wanted reload or days to buy his army or etc.i agreed or i waited him. Do u really believe that if i know that its not honorable style by our standarts i would do it? . Dont think that toh is important tournament for me - its just a way to play HMM.And.. Wand... that wasnt toh game..and pls..dont talk about romanian style pls Toh_Winner and Zero learned me all about it .One last thing - that game with Splexx... after he left , CPU attacked me same day and...killed me.Yesterday i played 2v2 and in utopia i got tome of earth.In final battle i used ressurect and our opponents told me that its sux ?!.Well - if u have some special rules - pls name it in ur info or atleast , tell them before the game?Really sorry if i insulted anyone, never wanted to.Its just a game which idea is to be enjoyable - its my opinion of course.

Saint I hope I didn't got you wrong.. but please DO NOT generalise that. I have no ideea what they DID learned you about "romanian style" but you can say whatever you want about them,still you can't say that there are NOT any romanian good and honorable players on toh,I hope I made myself clear.best regards to you , wan

i think a good player might have his moments of weakness during a game, lack of inspiration or "luck" and i think any strategy that could bring back the balance or increase his chances to win (as long as they are 100% fair) couldnt be labeled as lame or cheap, maybe it's not sophisticated as some players would expect, but , in fact , you start a game trying to learn some more and , if possible, to win, and that was the single option to achieve this goal.
why would you expect from a good player to win over a weaker one with a 100 times less army ? there are things can be done and some impossible , he's not a god after all .
it's part of a strategy, a straight one, i dont understand why you wanna shoot the pianist.
one more thing: if this strategy is cheap it means that's well known by almost all players and the attacker should have been taken it in consideration, no win without hard work or knowledge.
I'm generally speaking here cause the players being the subject of this disscusion don't matter eventually.
though, about the "romanian style" i let you speak only if you are tc_fear's relative, he's a river of compliments

I do know him since he was playing homm3,but he's not a relative of me... he's just romanian that's all and he plays good as I've heard

This was players defensive statement years ago back when H3 was at its peek and hit and run was the cheap tactic of choice. Bottom line is if your opponent has 100 times the army then you do, then he out played you. Why do you think just cause you got out played that it justifys throwing all morales and honor out the window just to reel in the win?

Hi all again and for last time.I dont like to chat so one last thing.Splexx its 100% true that u asked me "So u will stay in town?" - just it was at the game's end. No matter - once more i'll tell that i heart 1st time that its not honorable.I thought is just last standing option. Its true that usually i attacked u in our games.Its just my style - to rushing when its possible.Coz my opinion for every game is: if u are faster u can take most arties on the map. Nvm - i reported loss from you. Lets forget that game - it was my fault that i never heart of all public secrets.Lets just forget and play again. The_Saint_BG never ever will stay in town or etc. Just one ask again - just in case - guys - ment. ur special rules at the begining of the game.Exept town sitting and catapult killing - they are clear for me now.Sry for my bad english - still learning
